I am bailing halfway through. You would think the Cavs had a record like the Detroit Pistons. If healthy, this team would have won 53-55 games and would have been the second seed. I don't get the negativity. SMDH!
The problem is that they are a very good regular season team, but DG is not a playoff pg. Too small, fragile, poor defender and inconsistent scorer. Big need is a 3 and move Strus to the 2 guard where he will be more comfortable.
@@scottmgso Small sample size. He's only 24! Fans are so impatient. We were injured in the playoffs. Our starters only played 28 games during the season together. I'm not going to sell low! We agree to disagree.
@@keiththomas3422 I understand and appreciate what you’re saying. I am not a fan of undersized players. I have a feeling that Darius will be injury prone because of his build. If they keep him, I hope I am wrong! Wouldn’t be the first time.
I agree man the DG hate is ridiculous, he had 1 downyear last year he balled out we just didn't have enough offense but at this point I wanna see DG run his own squad again..If it wasn't for his contract nobody would be dogging that kid..I like DG but we don't appreciate players when they have adversity we think these dudes robots..but rich paul don't play bout his clients DG will be moved because he wants it for DG
Extend Mobley,
keep Allen,
keep Donovan.
Build with 3 and D wings around that core,
a back up pg,
and a backup center.
And keep Okoro

Lmfao I obviously know he’s better and all that but he doesn’t deserve a max extension ahich him and his agent are acting like he/they won’t listen to any other offers unless it’s the max and he’s not worth it WHAT SO EVER LMFAO he averaged 15 9 and 3 like that’s not worth a couple hundred mil when if you take JA for instance he averaged 16.5 10.5 and 3 he also shot like 7% better from the field played 27 more games like yes Mobley is far more talented than Jarrett however if you’re moving him to the 5 and Evan doesn’t get his shot more consistent then does it make sense to pay him a max contract while getting that kinda production? I don’t think soo especially with the new cba. You can’t leave him at the 4 and keep Allen at the 5 because that leaves the same problem that we have had for years with two non-shooting bigs then let’s teams blitz Donovan and dg and it creates issues like you can like Mobley all you want however if he doesn’t learn to become more consistent from three I did not think he’s worth a max extension
@@dearmas9068 if you’re talking about my take on okoro then you are the one that does not in basketball because why waste money on a player that can only shoot good in the regular season. The regular season does not fucking matter the playoffs and championships or what matters in the playoffs. Okoro has shot 30% and 25% from 3 on almost 3 attempts per game that is fucking horrible. If you do not think that is bad you do not know ball
@@dearmas9068 wasn't Okoro the #5 pick in a good draft? And there was no formidable incumbent at his position? Okoro is a bust, it took me a while to accept it too, you'll come to terms with it someday. 😞
He needs to become a true stretch four who can reliably nail the corner 3 and average 20-22 ppg in order to stay in the same frontcourt will Allen. It's time his offensive game developed. If he's unwilling or unable to become an outside threat, he needs to be moved inside and Allen needs to be traded. We can't continue to play two non-shooting bigs, and two small ball dominant point guards on the floor at the same time. That core four may be talented but it's mismatched terribly.
I mean JA is still young on a GREAT CONTRACT I mean Mobley doesn’t wanna play in Cleveland get rid of him and we would get an INSANE HAUL FOR HIM
Altman's best move so far was getting Jarrett Allen. He gave up too much for Mitchell unless he signs long term. Firing Walton will be tough since Bill died, maybe include him in a player trade. I'm getting damned tired of all the talk of potentially trading J.Allen. New coach will use his passing skills shown in January in a high post offence and you will hush up about an Allen trade.
Allen and garland are the two best trade chips for the Cavs as of now trading Allen seems the move because Mitchell still has not signed extension. If Mitchell still leaves and we trade garland the Cavs will be in lottery
I wouldn't rush to dump allen yet he only makes 20 mil and unless we get someone equal for that pay that fits better why bother.
BI, Andrew Wiggins, J. Grant I think these players fit better to Donovan
@@johnpatricksoltes5459I would love Wiggins and Moses moody for Allen that would be a good young wing and then Wiggins is still a decent/good 2 way wing and he’s only 29 so he’s not super old if we can get him a Change of scenery get him back to what he was 2 years ago in the finals
You know all of these players were all stars except mobley. Before ball hog Mitchell got shoved on them. Nobody talks about what we can get for Mitchell and how it would benefit this team.

As soon as Klutch Sports made that statement about DG, DG is gone to me. As soon as Mook made his statement about JA not playing through an injury he once had in playoffs, JA was gone to me.
I already have JA & Caris traded to New Orleans for Herb Jones, Dyson Daniels, Larry Nance Jr., 2024 1st Rd Pick, & a 2025 2nd Rd pick swap n my head.
I already have DG & Dean Wade being traded to the Spurs for Keldon Johnson, Zach Collins, Tre Jones, 2024 1st Round Pick swap & 2 future 2nd Round Picks from SA n my head.
So the starting lineup would be
Spida, Max, Herb, Evan, and Zach.
Keldon will be r 6th man and finishing the game at the 2 guard.
Nance Jr., Tre, Niang & Dyson would round up the rotation off the bench.
Thoughts?
Thats a little too high of value for DG. Spurs are going to keep Tre Jones most likely to run the second unit

@@dearmas9068 Look man, Garland is my favorite player in the league, ive been following him for years and I think I have a pretty good understanding of his value and what he would bring to the Spurs. Thats 3 starters/sixth man players for one. A common trade package for Garland to the Spurs that ive seen is: Keldon Johnson, Malaki Branham, 8th pick this year, then a good future first or maybe 2 less valuable future firsts. Spurs aren’t desperate enough to get Garland to give up as many assets the first comment suggested, we dont need to do that with 2 top 8 picks this year where there are a lot of quality guard prospects, especially a guy like Rob Dillingham who has a similar upside to Garland when he first came into the league. We can make yall a solid offer but if you ask for too much then we are glad to embrace the draft and forget about Garland.

The Cavs are one of the best franchises in the league right now, little casual. The East runs through Cleveland again next year.

Garland is struggling to fit with Mitchell though. He is considerably better than hes been playing, but a BIG part of that is the broken jaw.
