IMO, Okoro will reluctantly sign his 1-year tender. Then, w/the Cavs being hard capped, Koby will sign F Yuta Watanbe & F/C Chimezie Metu 2 veteran minimums using the 5 million Tax Payer MLE. Now, if the Cavs work out an S&T w/Okoro & 2 SRPs 4 DFS, now that's a win 4 me. If Okoro gets an offer, we dont match, and that gives us the 12 million Non Tax Payer MLE to sign FAs. Precious Achiuwa, Cedi Osman, and Lamar Stevens would be nice haul with the Non tax payer MLE.

The SL that Tyson I had, I was hoping that Emoni would have had. Emoni's defense is just awful. He is more a shot chucker than a tru shooter. Tyson, right now, is the 2nd man off the bench behind Vert (3rd if Okoro re-signs). Tyson has more foot speed than Sam, Wade, Niang, & Ty right now. Tyson is very similar to Vert offensively, with Vert being better at creating separation while Tyson is bigger and better rebounder. Tyson right now is a more willing shooter than Okoro. CPJ, while rehabbing his ankle, was working on his 3pt shot. Cavs' agenda wasn't to repeat, but to get young players who already have a spot on the big league roster ready for the upcoming season. Travers is the complete opposite of Emoni to me. Luke was the 2nd best player on this SL roster. He has every skill u need to play in the NBA except the shooting. He is more league ready than Emoni, but i dont think he will make the Cavs this year. IMO, Koby will give Bates, DJ, & Tomlin two-ways. Koby will offer Travers a two-way, but he will declined and go back overseas. Here is my rotation & PT distribution as of now; Starters; DG-27 Spida-36 Max-21 Evan-30 JA-33 Bench; Vert (F/G)~24 Tyson (G)~21 Wade (F)~18 Niang (C/F)~15 Merrill (F/G)~15 Ty (G)~0 CPJ (G)~0 Tyson has shown n the SL that he'll make an immediate impact off the bench this year. Vert & Tyson will share the ballhandling responsibilities off the bench.

Watched him alot last season in the nbl. His stats never pop of the page but if you watch the game, he just seems to be in good spots all the time and he almost always makes the right play.

Son thank you I enjoyed your video and will be looking forward of more to come. Your take was spot on and could tell you did your homework, which is refreshing in today's world. There isn't any player on the FA market and no candidate worth trading for that puts us in a better situation to win. Sure we could add another 5-8 points a game but at the loss of our best coverage guy who guards the opponents best 1 & 2 so add points to our opponents card.

That's the problem with all of this so called sports journalism. Someone just throws something fact free against a wall because it's conceivable a guy like Lebron James, Donovan Mitchell, or Darius Garland to name just three, might be in a situation where he might want to switch teams. They never talk to the player, the team, the player's or the team's reps, or anyone close to anyone. They just figure it might be the case with zero evidence to corroborate their hunch and put it out there. That doesn't even rise to the level of a rumor, and there is zero accountability for it. Who are the clowns who put that out there. You should have put that in your story so we know who has ZERO CREDIBILITY going forward.

It's just one game. In the summer league no less. But yes, it could be a good sign.

Okoro is not a stats guy, he's a do the stuff that doesn't show up in the stats guy.

I'm not sure how he cracks the Cavs rotation this year with how deep their bench is. Not sure who he'd get minutes over right now. It really comes down to his defense & how quickly he picks it up. The problem is D. Wade & Okoro are excellent defenders & both LeVert & Struss are good, so he's not getting minutes over them. Merrill's niche as a 3 shooter is locked in & Porter Jr. is the back up PG, so he'd have to look at overtaking George Niang's minutes, which isn't out of the question.

Nice review! I agree with a majority of your comments. This Cavs summer league team doesn’t look like the. The Coaches have any strategy to their play. Additionally, the Cavs’ team doesn’t appear to be as talented as last summer. This squad seems to have just have been thrown the ball and told “play ball!” All of the players who were playing on the summer squad last season appeared to be getting groomed for the varsity but this season it seems like the club has already decided that none of them are worthy of being elevated. Where is Isiah Mobley, Sam Merrill, and Jerome? They showed promise but needed to be in need of a little more exposure. And what about more playing time for DJ Burns? I suspect that he is not in Cavs plans although he can bring more muscle to their roster.

I don't see how finned-smith would be an upgrade over Okoro. Can someone explain that one to me? Im asking because I see a lot of fans want to trade IO for DFS

Cam Johnson is a better 4 than 3. I worry about him being able to guard small forwards. I agree with you on Finney-Smith.

Garland will not be traded before the season starts

Keeping Donovan Mitchell seemed to be the high priority for Cleveland this Summer. Then extending Mobley's contract is the #2 priority. Everything else was menial and miscellaneous.

Travers is much better than Ward because Ward seems afraid to shoot when he’s open. That created a 4 on 5 situation too often. And please, don’t make any reference to Travers’ age as a weakness! It sounds ridiculous!

I was hoping that you would not be like the other channels that are more about pr and signing flashy well known players and more about actually about the team and what would be best for the team and its future. Signing Mitchell complicated everything and hand tied the Cavs even further. I said trade him. Not because I don’t like Mitchell. That’s dumb. If Cleveland traded him they could’ve begun to put together a well balanced team
