BMW Airhead No Spark Diagnosis

After going through the entire ignition system I still had no spark. So I went through the wiring diagram again and found a diode in the original tachometer which I was missing. I replaced the tach to an aftermarket part without a diode which gave the ignition system a constant ground connection. You can see a single spark come out when I lift the plugs off the fins. I installed a diode so no current would flow back down to the coils and voila, she fired right up.

Ok,,, so did it work? Kinda leaving us hanging bud… lol . I’m in the same situation. So would love to know if you got it fixed
