I'm a 19 year old college student who doesn't follow a certain religion. I honestly don't think I believe in anything. I don't remember how I found you, but I'm OBSESSED with your videos. I never thought I'd like learning about Mennonites but you have proved me wrong!!! Love your channel Megan!! Cannot wait for more videos :)

I love that you emphasize that you are a CHRISTIAN who is also a Mennonite...one way you put Christ first. Thank you for representing our Lord so well.

I'm 61 and I think this is such an interesting channel, and Megan you are so refreshing and sweet! The reason I ended up here is because of your how to sew a dress video, which appeared in my feed. I watch mostly sewing-related content here.
Megan, I am a 72 year old Grandmother who lives in Georgia. I love your channel because you live a very disciplined life. I admire your dedication to modest dressing, spending money wisely, & putting your family first. I have a 12 year old granddaughter who is my heart. I find your tips are very helpful to assist me in getting through my day. I wish I had enjoyed the benefit of this information as a young mom, but as they say you never get too old to learn! Keep being the authentic YOU living according to Biblical principals!
I too am not a young mom, 66, but am thinking of going to a Mennonite Church for the first time. What kind of dress should I wear or not wear? I enjoy your videos so much.
Gossiping & avoidance/fear of confrontation is definitely not just a Mennonite thing. I've struggled with that my entire life. I try really hard to either talk directly to the person or keep it to myself, but the need to vent sometimes outweighs that. Finding your channel was a combination of a couple of things. First, I live in Montana & we have quite a few Amish & Mennonite communities. In a world where social media, as well as people in general, can be critical or downright mean, I thoroughly enjoy being around someone who goes out of their way to be kind. I was also one of the subscribers Lynette sent your way. You're both amazing & I get a smile on my face every time I see that notification bell light up!
Megan I love your channel! I am a 40 year old woman living in northern Canada. I have lots of Mennonite heritage and the biggest influence on my life now is our fooooood. Oh my goodness restraint is an hourly exercise for me, I could go for some perogies and mennonite sausage and cream gravy 7 days a week! Keep up the great work on here, thank you for sharing your life and teaching us all about life as a Mennonite!
Hi Megan! For the record, I love how fast you talk. I am also a teacher, also a fast talker, and your channel instantly appealed to me because of the speed with which you covered your content 😂😁.
Hi Gloria! The answer about Mennonite men and their appearance is limited. The more conservative Mennonites are not at all hard to spot. I am one. See what I wrote tonight. After many years as a widower, I recently married a Gloria. It is a special name. Blessings, Michael Dougfir.
I don't, maybe I am the only guy on here. I found you video last night and have learned a bit about Mennonites. I actually thought they were an offshoot of the Amish. Thank you for clearing that up. I just love your brightness and your authenticity. I also love how you answered the negativity question... you put it into words so well. And your talking speed energizes me. :)
I am 61 year old woman, living in Australia. I stumbled across your channel via a sewing video and subscribed straight away! I am enjoying your fresh enthusiastic style, thank you and keep the videos coming!
The Mennonite thing you were talking about, avoiding face to face negative feedback or confrontation is SPOT ON. I'm not a Mennonite but I am a part of a non denominational church and I often see the same thing happening. Thank you for being so open and honest about it!
Hi Megan! I'm not a Mom or religious in any way and when I first found you it was out of curiosity about Mennonites. I've been watching for several months now and I've stayed because I love your tips, your authenticity, and your positive and upbeat personality. I'm always excited when you have a new video and although we differ in spiritual beliefs I find your welcoming and genuine personality keeps me coming back. As I'm sure you know people can be so rude instead of bypassing something they don't agree with they'll leave mean and ugly comments. That’s so sooooo true what you said about mennonites talking behind each other’s backs, instead of taking it straight to the person! I just wish if someone has a problem with me, at least they’d have the guts to say it to me instead of to everyone else.
Hi Megan, I live in Montreal (Quebec, Canada) and am an older mom. I'm 64 with 3 amazing kids. Wanted to say your videos are uplifting and helpful in many other ways. I think everyone (or almost) struggles with gossiping, especially women. I believe we, as a species, need to talk about our feelings and this is a way to unload, compare notes, and make sure we are "normal". We just need to be aware of our intent and try not to be hurtful or mean in the process. I think if I ever saw you in person (very unlikely LOL), I would want to give you a big hug. Sending lots of love your way!
Hi Megan. I’m a 57 yr old grandmother. I love you and your videos. You are a sweet, breath of fresh air in a time of negativity. I’ve went back to watch your older videos. You are a joy!!
LOVE how you say that you want your daughter to choose for herself when/if she wants to cover her hair and wear it up. So so sweet :) I'm a Christian and I personally can't stand to have anything on my head, but your fashion videos are great inspiration for cute modest outfits :)
Be yourself! I admire you and your culture. My childhood babysitter was German Baptist. I love them to this day and I am almost 60 years old. I was raised in a Freewill Baptist Church, but we all are simply Christians if we follow the Bible and it's teachings.
I just want to say, your Instagram stories have really encouraged me. After a bad day at work, you shared a story about receiving negativity and to not let it bother you because as long as we are happy and know who we are in Christ then it doesn’t matter. It really made me feel so much better and was a great reminder. Keep it up! Sending Love from Alabama
You are faithful, a wife, a mom, friend and you. Always keep you in the equation. I am granny with 2 grown daughters. The older one is realizing as her children are 4/2, she has started to take care of her needs too. Your husband can’t do it....trust me...40 years later and he still would rather golf than knit! You are a fun thing I carve out time in my day to watch ❤️
I just have to say, I’m a non-denominational “born again” Christian. I just discovered your channel and girl I love it! While we don’t live the same lifestyle I love your outlook, acceptance, and recognition that not all Christians do things the same way, and that’s okay. I don’t think there’s a “right” way to have a relationship with God. That’s between you and him. And our lives are VERY different. But I love what you stand for and the messages you send to the world. You’re doing good work.
I’ve always been told and taught if you say nothing but the truth, you have no stories to keep straight. I use this when talking about other people as well. I also don’t mind saying that I don’t need to know whatever gossip they have. I’m definitely not perfect but I do try. I also have no problem confronting people that talk behind my back as I feel I always have room for improvement, and at the very least I feel I (and everyone else) deserve more respect than that. Also I’m not a mom or a Christian but I do love your videos! Keep up the great work!
Just hearing you talk about your life is so inspiring 💕 I’ve never been apart of a religion or even a “culture” really and I love learning new things about mennonites! It makes me want to live a better life and be more motivated.
I think it’s excellent you are putting your family first. And the reason I keep coming back to your channel is because you’ve stayed true to who you are. 🧡
You do a great job answering questions about Mennonites. And as a fellow Mennonite, yes! Why is it so easy to say something negative behind someone's back? Thanks for the encouragement to stop the gossip!
I'm a mom of 2, ages 13 and 6, watching from Wisconsin. I'm a work at home mom, I run an in home daycare. I love hearing about the menonite culture and just your day to day life. It helps me to realize that we all have similar struggles.
Hi Megan, 19yo engineering student here! Thank you for sharing your lifestyle with us. I'm not religious in any way but have always loved learning about different religions and your videos are so wonderful for this. Not to mention; your energy and your speed cleaning videos always get me up and cleaning my room. :)
As an ageing, childless, British atheist, this really shouldn't be a channel for me - but I love it! I enjoy learning about other cultures, and the more I hear about our differences, the more I see how, fundamentally, we are all the same. Keep up the good work - and thank you for telling me about the importance of 'liking' a piece; I had assumed simply subscribing was enough, but now I'll be hitting that 'like' button too!
Love your honesty Megan & your convictions. I’m an Independent Baptist & Believe in eternal security & do not cover my head as you do. I believe that a womens hair is her covering. Having said all that 😊 you are definitely a force of encouragement & a young driven women who’s not ashamed of who she is. So happy to see young Moms happy with who they are. I also enjoy watching Lynette Yoder & Hannah’s Happy Home. We need MORE Young Moms who not only Love being Moms & Love their husband BUT also Love the Lord & want to please HIM most of all. Mych I’ve & Encouragement to YOU from a 58 year old Mom & Mawmaw from NC❤️
Hi Megan! First off I love your channel. Secondly thank you for educating all ignorant people like myself about being a Mennonite without being judge-y toward other beliefs or religions. I am not a religious person or a mom but I find myself calmly entertained by you, thank you!
One of your videos popped up on my feed last week and I'm not sure why, but I'm glad to have found your channel. I'm not a mom, nor am I a Mennonite; I'm not even really Christian, even though I believe in a God. I just appreciate how kind you are and how you stick to your morals and are full of integrity. There are things we disagree on, I'm sure, but I feel like you'd still be respectful of my beliefs as I would be of yours. I think that's really special. Thanks for such fun content!
When she said--- people ask why im so big... And she paused.. I got upset i was like she is so skinny and petite!! 😂😂😂 thank you for clarifying it was about youtube.. 😂😂😂
Love this! I really enjoy it when you sit and "chat" to us and answer questions! I am really enjoying your videos and your transparency! It's Clear to see you are just being you and its refreshing! God Bless you and your family!!
Megan you are such a joy and inspiration. Thank you for being real! Wow, thanks for explaining the slow down option. Its also great to hear you share your attitudes and personal boundries as a wife, mom, and utuber.
I’m also a Christian and love your channel. What a blessing! You have found a way to share your faith by just being you. I loved your answer about the controversial topics and how just go by what the Bible says! Great answer!
I adore and admire Meghan ... She is wise and open and her videos are a relaxing pleasure for me ... I do not blame her for putting her family first before getting too involved with her followers ... She spends much time on her videos and much respect for her drawing a line in favor of her husband and children ...
I am a stay at home mom of two and I live in France. I found you totaly randomly on my feed and I subscribed immediatly. I love watching your videos while doing house stuff, you are so genuine and your channel is very informative and inspiring ! I wish you the best for your youtube journey 😉🇫🇷
Megan. Just found your channel (Probably because I subscribe to Lynette Yoder’s channel). I am a Christian (Catholic). I always appreciate the channels of other Christ-following women. I wanted to say that I totally appreciate your answer to the question about controversial topics. I am going to steal that answer, if you don’t mind. Keep being you!
Hello from Michelle in Kentucky. I grew up in a Mennonite community and can relate to so many things that you say. My grandparents were Mennonites, however; my parents never joined the church although we always attended. I still am in contact with a lot of the people that I grew up around. I love watching your videos and I watch Lynette's as well because it is like having a little bit of those younger days back again.
Love your peppiness, Megan! Your videos are always uplifting. Also, YES @ 6:30!!! I cover as well, and not just for the Biblical reasons but it really helps remind me to keep my actions and heart in check! I grew up church of Christ and we are almost identical to Mennonite in a lot of ways. Also know what you mean about the gossiping thing too 🙈
I'm a young Catholic mom with two kids as well. Love watching and listening to other Christians living out their faith. Thank you for sharing a piece of your life here on UA-cam!
I love how open and authentic you are, and yet you can still draw the line. That's one of the reasons your channel is my cup of tea :) And that's a really pretty Bible edition you have, or is it a cover? Blessings to you and yours! ❤
Hi Megan, I think you answered all those questions splendidly! With such grace and wisdom. It makes me think of the verse 1 Peter 3:15. I really appreciate your channel, I often listen more than watch-because I’m doing house work! But sometimes my girls and I will put it on at lunch break. They are 14 and 11! They love watching your channel. I’ll be happy to support your channel and what you do! Thanks for some ideas on how to do that! I didn’t know how it worked! Blessings!
It is oddly fascinating to watch your videos as a 49 year old mother of two grown kids. I always learn something or am encouraged in some way. Thank you for having a channel. I wish I had this when I was a young mama!
It is wonderful to hear about your life. I am 65 years old, and am thrilled that you have learned some many of life's lessons so young. I grew up in the " church", but by my late 40's became disillusioned with the mixed messages.
I loved your answer about why women who dress modesty stand out. I also dress the same dont cut my hair but head covering is not necessary in my view does not make sense that only your bun is covered but nothing else but that is my opinion. But I do like the modesty answer and I will use it when people ask me
Hi, Megan! I'm a Christian, too, a believer in Jesus, but not Mennonite like yourself. Your answers to questions relating to your personal faith in Christ were so humble & helpful. Thanks for explaining your beliefs without judging others. I respect that! Thanks for sharing your smile & fun-loving personality on UA-cam. I also watch Lynette Yoder and like her personality, too. It's great to have wholesome content to enjoy. Blessings from South Korea!
Hi Megan! Texas grandma here!! I found you through other Mennonite sites when I went searching for sewing tips (I think I was trying to attach a sleeve) 🤦🏻♀️ I really appreciate your videos and thank the Lord for your testimony. 💗
I absolutely love your videos. I love learning about different groups within Christianity. I have had many opportunities interact with Amish, Bible Belters, Southern Baptist’s and more. I love learning! -Amber
I just really appreciate your videos and how honest and sweet they are. The videos are so genuine and your unwavering happiness in life is so refreshing to be part of. It's a good reminder that there is so much to be grateful for in every day.
I found you randomly on a UA-cam binge while I was sick a few months ago. I have the same love of learning and I think that’s why I clicked the first time. I love how approachable you are! I’m a single 24 year old and not a Mennonite, but you’re always warm and encouraging and I just love watching your videos! ❤️
Megan -you and your family are awesome! Keep being you -positive, real and humble. We love you for it! I appreciate getting some insight into Mennonite culture. So interesting!
Your vidoes are great. And ignore the people who try to bait you or who are hateful. They have issues that have nothing to do with you. Keep doing exactly what you are doing it's VERY refreshing to see a young woman who knows who she is and what is truly important.
Megan: I have loved watching your vlog! I’m also a believer, with Mennonite background. You’re very funny, interesting, and authentic. Our birthdays are on the same day! However, I’m 74 and have 7 grandkids. I admire your ease of using social media. And your little ones are so adorable! Keep up the good work.
Hi Megan, you're so patient and honest 🌼 You have very different beliefs to me but that's one of the reasons I love to listen to you. I love to learn about people with backgrounds different to mine 🌎 But most of all I love your kindness of heart and that inspires me to think and act with continued kindness too. Keep having fun and thank you 😊🌼🌼🌼
I am from the South but like the 'fast talkers' or the ones that get to the point quickly. I have a small window for You Tube time so I watch a handful of favorites on a faster speed. I do the same with audio books, it helps me concentrate on what is being said and is a way to get in a few things for myself in a short amount of time. I love watching your videos, they are always so well done. Your faith encourages me and I admire your tactful openness. Congrats on the new house, I love it and I am looking forward to seeing what you do with each room.
See I get opinions all over the map! That's why I guess I'll just be myself and people will adjust. I myself cant watch YTers who ramble on slowly. I just want the point! But we're all different which is what makes life so interested! Thanks for writing!
I am a Nana to my four grandees and have been watching you since your first video... I also love Lynette’s channel too... keep up the good work ...you are always genuine and refreshing ...always do your own thing and be your own person that’s what makes “you” you !! xo

I'm 51 yr old mom of 3 and I watch you daily while I work. Love everything you do! Uplifting and positive.
And we live around Flora In. Surrounded by Amish/Menonites/ German Baptistso incompletely normal to me. So funny the things ppl are inquisitive about
I love your videos. I’m a mom of 3 grown children. I think you are amazing to share your experiences with being a mom and a Mennonite with the world.
Hi, I am a born again Christian. I love your channel. You seem so sweet and genuine. Please keep being you. Can't wait for your next video.
I love the fact that you put your family first, it's a really healthy behavior to create boundaries.
I love how open and honest you were to all of your "Mennonite" questions! Don't ever let others intimidate how you live for Christ! 😊
I love that you talk fast! I always speed up youtube videos but the down side is the higher pitched voice, but with you I don’t feel the need to! :D
I find it very admirable that you try to follow the bible the best way you know how. Much love. God bless!
I love your humility and down-to-earth demeanor.
You do a great job answering questions about Mennonites. And as a fellow Mennonite, yes! Why is it so easy to say something negative behind someone's back? Thanks for the encouragement to stop the gossip!
You can’t live your life according to others opinions ... so good for you, Meghan, you do you!
I'm a mom of 2, ages 13 and 6, watching from Wisconsin. I'm a work at home mom, I run an in home daycare. I love hearing about the menonite culture and just your day to day life. It helps me to realize that we all have similar struggles.
i think it is important that you are addressing it and sharing with viewers that this is why you are not as interactive as you would hope .
Hi Megan, 19yo engineering student here! Thank you for sharing your lifestyle with us. I'm not religious in any way but have always loved learning about different religions and your videos are so wonderful for this. Not to mention; your energy and your speed cleaning videos always get me up and cleaning my room. :)
😄 thanks dear!! And you’re welcome! 😄🤷🏻♀️ I appreciate your straightforwardness about life ! And hope to see you in Florida again!
Mych
I’ve & Encouragement to YOU from a 58 year old Mom & Mawmaw from NC❤️
I’ve got you all beat - I’m 72! No kids but I sure do love your vids.
When she said--- people ask why im so big... And she paused.. I got upset i was like she is so skinny and petite!! 😂😂😂 thank you for clarifying it was about youtube.. 😂😂😂
Heehee! Love it!
I honestly thought this too. I was like she isn't big at all. Then I was like wait she means on you tube. 😁😂🤣
I was like where? She’s tiny. I’m like they must have sent a message to the wrong person. Haha
Same!
"How rude" was my first reaction too. Glad we were mistaken in the meaning.
That was fun! Your channel got so big because you are lovely, honest and very refreshing. You do a great job with this channel. xx
Megan just love your straight forward no nonsense approach to answering the questions people ask you. Love your channel
I adore and admire Meghan ... She is wise and open and her videos are a relaxing pleasure for me ... I do not blame her for putting her family first before getting too involved with her followers ... She spends much time on her videos and much respect for her drawing a line in favor of her husband and children ...
Hi Megan, just know you are amazing! I’m so impressed by your style and appreciate your sweet demeanour and helpful content!
Also know what you mean about the gossiping thing too 🙈
I think you are adorable. Some people are so critical and I think you handled the controversial questions so well, with class and dignity.
Hi Megan,
I think you answered all those questions splendidly!
As a continuation, THANK YOU, for helping me accept that it's ok to follow my faith, and GOD'S word.
I loved your answer about why women who dress modesty stand out. I also dress the same dont cut my hair but head covering is not necessary in my view does not make sense that only your bun is covered but nothing else but that is my opinion. But I do like the modesty answer and I will use it when people ask me
Megan, I'm a 49 year old South African Christian woman and I just LOVE your channel. You go girl!
I found you through other Mennonite sites when I went searching for sewing tips (I think I was trying to attach a sleeve) 🤦🏻♀️
I really appreciate your videos and thank the Lord for your testimony.
Seconding Cher's comment. Not a mom, not usually into mom channels, but I love the DIYs, cooking, and tips. You're doing an awesome job!
I just wanted to say that I love watching your videos! I'm a christian from NH. I have 5 kids-only my 14 and 19 year old still at home.
As someone who just started their channel, and is truly loving it. I really appreciate you're advice on negativity 💜
Megan -you and your family are awesome! Keep being you -positive, real and humble. We love you for it! I appreciate getting some insight into Mennonite culture. So interesting!
Please Don't ever change WHO YOU ARE keep it real
Your vidoes are great. And ignore the people who try to bait you or who are hateful. They have issues that have nothing to do with you. Keep doing exactly what you are doing it's VERY refreshing to see a young woman who knows who she is and what is truly important.
Great point!🧡
I like how authentic and genuine you are, and I feel like we would be good friends if we ran in the same circles 😊
Megan: I have loved watching your vlog! I’m also a believer, with Mennonite background. You’re very funny, interesting, and authentic. Our birthdays are on the same day! However, I’m
74 and have 7 grandkids.
I also love Lynette’s channel too... keep up the good work ...you are always genuine and refreshing ...always do your own thing and be your own person that’s what makes “you” you !! xo
I played with playback speed and faster much better than slower. Slower made me laugh. Love you beautiful lady you are great!!
