Can Lee explain what he loves about the Iron Warriors? I am newer to the lore and certainly the game and I don’t see why people like them. Perterabo is very capable but treats his own legion with such contempt it just drives me nuts. Are there certain books Lee would recommend that made him fall in love with them that I could try to read to see that point of view? I also dislike the Word Bearers, but after First Heretic and Betrayer I get more why they can be sympathized with. Thanks! Love your content.
For what it's worth, a lot of people like Perterabo/The Iron Warriors -because- they're pieces of shit. Almost every villain in the series gets some tragic backstory, or something like that, that having some people who are just unrepentant douchebags is kind of a refreshing change. Not that the Iron Warriors/Perterabo don't have compelling backstory/understandable motives; but they're also just straight-up villains, too, and wear it on their sleeves.
Always happy to see new Hammertime.
More to come!
I’ve been waiting. I love your content!
Very excited for this one gents!
Not sure about the other books you mentioned however the Iron Warriors built a base out of rhinos in angels Exterminatus
Fuck yes! IRON WITHIN! IRON WITHOUT!!
6:03 the amount of tanks that “we” used, huh, Rob? Medwell doesn’t seem like a Soviet surname…
I said 'were'. But sounded like we.
@@medheadfuluh huh… so no family holidays to Argentina… 😉
Monte cassino got bombed but the Germans just dug into the ruins on top of a mountain, so not much tank action.
