Correction the dry weight is 235LBs not 240LB. Still around 10 pounds heavier than the Beta 300 I currently ride. Thanks for watching!

You are the expert.. For us, shitty riders, the main difference in between 2s/4s is not pure weight but gravity center of bike. It has a much higher gravity center, and we can easily be over picked up by it , not mentionning far difficult to get bike upright. I hope you will show us the differences in use and how to manage throtlle/clutch blips etc on these efi bikes... I have a 390 beta, which, with a +200 rpms idling, never stalls, but poorly trying to apply your techniques, I wonder about the difference due to stronger low torque and more inertia of the engine, in blips and clutch launch... Hard to say if it is my bad ( I guess it is ;) ) or the different powertrain action to manage....

i bought one at the beginning of this year i really like it so far. i had the suspension resprung and valved because in the dutch sand it dove a little to deep to my liking at 80kg besides that it is still stock and the engine is awesome. stronger and more direct that my gasgas ec350F (ktm xcw 350). in the netherlands the fan is not stock tough for 2022 it was a 2023 isn't unfortunately so i had to buy one. i'm excited to take it to france next month to see how it handles in the mountains and rocks. after watching this i feel quite hopeful about! thanks for the vid keep it up!
i changed the gearing to 13-52 works way better. and in comparisson to the austrian 350's it feels way lighter to ride. lots more bottom end on the tm. it doesn't stall as easy as the gasgas so i'm super happy with it after 15 hours of riding

A very good and comprehensive review of the 2023 TM 300 FI Rich! From a well rounded rider who’s riding style demands more from what an enduro dirt bike is designed for but shown to very ‘adaptable’. Impressive that the TM EN 300 FI handled well from engine and handling in the tight technical riding. I own a 2020 KTM 500 EXC-F (EU version) having owned three 2-strokes beforehand and I agree ‘one’ has to be more deliberate on the clutch in order to inhibit flame-outs. Certainly interested on watching and hearing about more of your riding on the TM EN 300 FI.

I do like to do the more technical style of riding but also find the bike has legs and winds right out sooo much fun 3rd gear makes me smile every time

Great review. Appreciate the detail on your suspension clickers and the commentary on why you set it up like that. Yes it doesn't translate 100% to my bike, type of riding or terrain, but it is interesting to hear the why you set it up like you did.
When I was picking up my Sherco 300 4T they had the TMs sitting right there.... always wonder what if, but figured Sherco was a stretch already on parts availability and the aftermarket, the TM would push that to the extreme.

Great review. I'm surprised that the manufacturers haven't developed a real hard enduro specific 4 stroke considering the popularity of that discipline these days. Gotta love the 2 strokes though, just when we thought they were dead the European manufacturers developed and refined them. Keep up the great work.

I ride 300 2stroke for personnal bike and competition, but I also ride 250 SEF Sherco at work and I'd say both are good bikes even if the 250 4stroke has a too long gear, (13x49) and makes it stall in technical situations. But seriously I'm thinking of buying a TM one day and it will be a 300 2 stroke. The only reason I didn't buy it earlier is because of rare aftermarket protection for hard enduro for this beautiful bike.
Thanks Rich ! That helps a lot !

I have a Husqvarna TE310R (302cc technically). I am a mediocre offroad rider and it is currently needing me to take it apart to have the head decked. I felt way more comfortable on that than my 2021 Beta 300 RE, mostly because I ride 4 stroke street bikes and am used to engine braking. A friend who rides a CRF450X loves that Husky 310 for its stability and power delivery. A 300ish 4 stroke is a fantastic bike.

I am not sure which I like less the massive silencer on the 300sef or the extra exhaust. The sef looks much more prone to damage as the TM is much shorter & tucked in. Both bikes appear very effective, after this review & feedback form Cullins I would lean in the direction of the TM.
