TM is my favorite manufacturer at the moment, simply for the fact that they give you the kick starter and a carb option. The fact that KTM took those away still pisses me off.
Touché. I’m not sure about the beta, but the Rieju isn’t counterbalanced if zi remember correctly. Still good bikes, I’m sure, but I think they’re just a step behind in their offerings than KTM or TM. That being said, they still offer 2 strokes, and for that I’m grateful.
I always empasized on Kickstarter and have it on my 2015 EXC 350 (300h) and my 2019 Husky 250TPI (160h). Gues what? I never ever used it. And we had wild times in hard terrain.
I have a 21 tm Mx 250 with a 6 speed transmission. I’ve got about 60 trouble free hours on it. So far it’s by far the best handling bike I’ve ever owned
I have a 20 en 5 speed and I set it up like an mx bike, so had the dealer flash the mx maps, adjusted gearing and revalved the suspension. The 6 speed as far as we know actually has a 6th added and they don’t look like they split gears up, so 1st is still 2:1 on both gearboxes, the mx first usually is 1.81 I think so it’s a little taller. Not sure about that if you select 6speed with mx if you get the en ratios or not. I haven’t found a published parts fiche for the 6 speed yet.
Thanks for the video. I bought a 300 TM 3 weeks ago. Really like it. The fork will get better as you ride it. It needs break in time. Front Brembo brakes are better if you have the 9mm piston version. Some came with 10mm. Keep the vidoes coming from your rides on this.
I had never even heard of TM until I watched the S1GP (Supermoto) first race of the season this week. Had never watched it before. The top 3 guys were all on TM! I had to look it up to see what it was.
This company is a little boutique for me but I like that they are using an aluminum frame and embracing the 2-stroke tradition. Wish them best of luck! 🇮🇹
Back out on your fork compression 3 to 4 clicks. Then go out on shock high speed compression about 2 to 3 clicks. This will the lower the back end of the bike considerably.. I also go out 2 clicks on the low speed compression the low speed compression on the shock for technical riding. Just these changes transform how the bike handles. The rider cockpit is actually the same measurements as KTM and that is with the KTM having 1" bar risers. That being said i do have the tm upper triple clamp with rubber mount bars and reverable ckamps. Try the mokin maps avalible from the power chicken.
There is a channel called " The Dirt Bike Channel" he has a couple videos that pertain. One is "Things to do before every ride" and the other one is something like "Things to always do to your NEW bike"...lol i get it, I just got a new bike and just had to go ride it without doing jack to it. I survived but it was just a USFS truck road with little elevation change. I wouldn't ride the trail you are on even if the bike had a built in parachute..lol
Kyle I have had to bleed the brakes on several of my Euro bikes when they were new. And check all the fastners. Some are not as tight as they shoud be from the factory. Especially fender bolts.
For your mushy Brake. Often no need to open the system. I always succeeded with just pressing in the pistons and this pumped up the air to the reservoir.
You keep complaining about not being able to move the handlebars. Rubber mounted bars are an option in that bike. You just needed to pay an extra $100. 😂
A nice boutique bike, but is it really any better than a Beta, KTM, Sherco, GasGas, Husky, etc.? I doubt it. Will parts be as available, I doubt it. I honestly see no reason to buy one, others may differ.
@@stangindude99 Maybe true, but early adopters will pay the price even if the brand survives. More than likely you will experience more hassles & cost. Thats fine if you know it going in.

That looks like a great motorcycle. Typical Italian style. If there is an aftermarket exhaust manufacturer for them you could lose a few pounds by going to a single exhaust. no doubt at the expense of some horsepower, but I would take the lighter weight over a little loss of horsepower any day. One thing I didn't like on the Honda four-strokes of a few years ago was the dual exhaust.

@f5tornadeau the Beta 2stroke line still have carbs and an option to purchase a kicker!

Good call on the 9mm. I’ve heard that’s a great upgrade from a lot of people.

The trails here in idaho are similar, nice to see you back out riding this season. Watching this video has got me excited to go out riding!!
Change the fork oil. KYB uses specific break in oil. Once you’ve got regular fork oil in them, they feel good.
