The "weird" arm attachment is for the entire cockpit to fit into. The whole front fuselage of the valk can be removed (just like the real Yamato and Arcadia ones do). If you remember the 2nd or 3rd episode of the original classic Macross TV series, Roy detaches the front fuselage of the cockpit from Hikaru's VF-1D and attaches it to the forearm of his VF-1S Battroid. (I know, nerding out here. ha ha). But, that's what that black plastic attachment is for. As far as it being a little incomplete in the casting of it from the mold, I'm not sure. I am expecting mine from AliExpress this week so, I'll have to look at mine when I get it. Thanks for your in-depth review. Also, with the head, the original Yamato valks can pop off like that too. It's made so that people have the option of removing it first during transformation so as to protect any of the side antennae on either the VF-1J, D or S models.
Thanks! It’s mean a minute since I messed with the 1/60 Yamato. I’m not sure if I even have any. LOL. I know I have 1/48 by Yamato and Bandai as well as my Chunky Monkey 1/55 collection.
Jetfire was the copy version back in the day. Hong kong used the stolen molds for a ton of models over the years. The aliversion is a more modern copy mold
Yes, Jetfire did the Gerwalk landing once in the G1 cartoon. Nice review.
Very cool for the price! I'm tempted to get one!

G1 Jetfire was made by Bandai. The original was Takatoku. Jetfire was made under license by Bandai for Hasbro.
Where did you find that for $60?
I misspoke. It was 160
@@Solscud007 OH COME ON
