I feel like this song is related to viral, delirium and senseless. First, viral/senseless. They occur at around the same time, from different perspectives. We’ll call the singer in Viral Princess and the one in Senseless Hime to differentiate them. Princess and Hime are in a relationship, a heavily abusive one. Hime uses Princess to their advantage, not caring for their well-being but rather how much they abide to Hime. Princesss is too attached to Hime to leave and hasn’t really been shown love ever, so she doesn’t think much of it, and stays attached to Hime to an unhealthy extent. Eventually, Princess realizes this isn’t healthy, and this sets in the events of delirium. They start to detach from everything around them. They’re confused as to how to escape, it feels like they’ve locked themself in a cage attached to Hime. They just want to leave and escape to paradise. Paradise is the last song. Princess escapes, but they find that they’re still hurt by the abuse. They’re not better nor stronger than they were before, and they feel just as helpless, desperate and worthless. They want to be in the paradise everyone else lives in, just out of reach. or maybe I’m looking too much into things idk

Paradise really does feel like what it’s like finally detaching from the thing that caused you so much pain… only to realize you’re just as hurt.

this song sounds so..... ethereal???? a strangely upbeat calm. I love the rhythm to it your art and editing gets better every pv. The way the text is edited fits the tuning so well, like with the shaking, and brings attention to backup vocals I probably wouldn't have heard otherwise. the pillars rotating is such a cool effect too, and the water moving must have taken so many layers and work to get right edit: i just realized at 1:23 the background starts flickering red and then back to blue, until it finally stays red. I never noticed there was a gradual transition, thats really cool :0
This reminds me of how people will say that being queer will send you to hell (specifically the line "why have I been forsaken for being who I am?") Edit: now that i think further, it feels more like a gay person taught that being gay is wrong, questioning why they can't change and feeling like their god has abandoned them

So I know I listened to this back when it first came out, but I had the urge to listen to all your music again and revisiting this song with the context of my current situation...ow. I didn't realize how hard it was gonna hit. Being in my mid-20's with an unsteady job, struggling with ADHD, anxiety, and depression, desperately trying to find a purpose but catching myself content with my current situation even though everyone around me says I should just be better and work harder and try more and be different...it really does feel like I'm searching for a paradise that looks different from what everyone else thinks it should be.
