At 76 and still shredding…. Mighty Martin and his Magic Axe, and look Mom, no pedals !!!! Met Martin a couple of times and you will never met a more humble man. I’ve been blessed to hear the virtuosity of musical gifts.
Saw them a few years back at a gig in Wakefield. Yorkshire. They were amazing, Martin as lost none of his skill as a top guitarist. Was fortunate to have had a long chat with the legend. A true gentleman, & a very humble man. Keep rocking boys. 🤟
He really looks like he is having a blast. The whole band come across as a proper unit, a proper rock band. As much as I love the genius of Ian and Tull, the band as a bunch of rockers had pretty much disappeared.

If you know Jethro Tull I suppose you know Martin Barre who was the band's guitarist for more than 40 years. I think the bassist it Alan Thomson but I'm not absolutely sure.

This band is so gutsy. Love it. The vocals are not an imitation of Ian; they are a new day, and great for it.
Even listening to this version I still hear the original vocals in my head!
