I bought the So it's like That special edition cd that came with a dvd of this show. I’ve been following Joe since Bloodline. Was very excited when he started a solo career. Personally, I prefer the young, raw and hungry Joe. His career accomplishments are monumental, that goes without saying. I do find his last several releases to be a wee bit less exciting, shall we say, than his first half dozen or so releases. I saw Joe live touring his A New Day Yesterday cd as well as several concerts since and some fairly recent tours as well. His playing, vocals and stage presence have certainly grown, as they should after all these years. I guess I would like to see the jeans and t-shirt Joe more often. Still a long time fan and will continue to spread the word of Joe's blues.
This was the Bonamassa we all loved and paid money to watch and listen too, before he became 'commercialised'!. I saw him in a quite a small venue in Cardiff many years ago, and he blew everybody away with a performance like this and i was told by someone who spoke to him after the concert, apparently he had flu! Would i pay to watch the new 'polished' Bonamassa? probably not.
As much as i like Joe's newer stuff and his every changing bandmates, this trio was something special. He has lost the rawness of the early performances, much more polished these days. Although his singing has improved over the years. I remember buying this cd and being blown away, i took my dad to SF to see him in 2007 only the first 10 rows were filled. It was an amazing concert but i could tell Joe was very disappointed with the turn out.
IMHO the best lineup he's ever had. Eric Czar is simply an incredible bassist. I can only speculate that egos got in the way of this band. What a shame. As a guitarist, I would thank my lucky stars if I had a rhythm section 1/2 as good.
Kinda miss the Joe, Eric, Kenny line up. I like his current band line up and the whole Les Paul thing he's got going on now, but there's still something raw and brutal about a three piece band.
@@austinroper5556 Sorry, Sir. Had become aware of this after sending. Had also tried to correct my fault. Apparently, it didn't work. For the rest, I'm not into politics. Thanks.
I wonder if the guitar tech was fired after this show. That strat held the tuning for about 2 1/2 minutes of the song. Thank God Joe switched to Les Paul from that wimpy Strat sound.
brian george lol well I disagree but its all good I prefer a strat but I have nothing against a LP and I own one and you are very right about switching but there is no way Hendrix sounded better with a LP.. Peace!
I wouldn't say he's "bad". He definitely has a more stereotypical "white man blues" voice, a much different style than Ian's for sure. Overall, I thought it was a good take on JT, although I like the more subdued, less solo-y, original.

A diamond in the rough then. Now finely polished and brilliant 😊

Joe B is the coolest nerd on the planet!!! Love his podcasts!!!!
I remember being at this concert. I love how he shouted out Fort Wayne in If Heartaches Were Nickels. One of the best concerts ever at Pierre's.
Legend guitarist, super guitarist,love ❤🙏🍀🎶🎼🎵👌✌️🎸🎤🥁
These two are the best! Hands down! Beautiful union! Much love!👍💥
Makes you realize how transcendent Tull was in their day. Great version and nice homage to Ian!
Seen classic Tull 4x in the 70s and this fucking rocks. He's played with Martin too.
Love Joe's style for sure 🌼

This Tull fan approves!!!!
Loved this song since '69, but you gotta hear this one from Chantel. ua-cam.com/video/0WBBDga7etE/v-deo.html
Frickin Awesome!!! Rock-hard Bonamassa!

You are just spot on. I Hope Eric will mature with age. He is indeed a gifted musician 👍
Eric Czar is simply an incredible bassist.
Great song, great version. And the Trower is strong with this one.
Great version by Joe.
Can't go wrong covering Tull
oh my god, never thought that someone could do it better
That sound ! Joe just have so great tones !
Eric is one bad man! I hope there wasn’t any friction between him and Joe
Excellent !!!
Fantástico. Toca demais.
Just Toooooo damned gooooood, ... no words
that is phenomenal
Nice job Joe! I miss Ian's harmonica on this one...
that intro!
did not know this one !! wondefullllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll ! ! !!
I was in the front row at this show ft Wayne Indiana
That ringy snare drives me up the wall.
Wow the best guitar
The old Jethro Tull number :)
i love Jethro Tull , very good version
GREAT!!!
Going crazy, yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah!*************
Amazing! Thumbs up********100********!

Agree 100%
I fully agree :)
Agreed 146%. Too dull now.
First 2 minutes was the best
badd ass!!!!!
Awesome !!1
Good old song by Ian Paisley's Jethro Tull. Love it.
Ian Anderson was Tull's leader. Ian Paisley was an Norther Irish Loyalist politician and a no good bastard.

Джо, Джо, Joe, Joee!!!!!!!!
Jethro Tull from 1969. Stand Up album.
Titillating tickles! Ragin'!
This is the proof that Jimi is reincarneted into Mr.Bonamassa
Yes
And the winner of the best guitar face is..........
Two dislikes ..What is wrong with them ?
is that Kenny on the drum?
I think JB is Great. I must also give some credit to the Bass Player who I think is really good.
Eric is one of the best bass players around. I wish I could have played half as good as him.
yep@
That bassplayer is awesome, can anyone tell me his name??
Eric Czar ;-)
thanks bro!!
What year was this video made?
Anyone know the venue? I know it's in Fort Wayne
Meant hot
Great playing, Joe should've stayed with the power trio format...he's still great of course, but I just love that 3 piece lineup.
Is jimi reincarnated or what ,even same guitar - just fantasticobulous
Who's the babe dancing?
I wonder if the guitar tech was fired after this show. That strat held the tuning for about 2 1/2 minutes of the song. Thank God Joe switched to Les Paul from that wimpy Strat sound.
I guess Hendrix Clapton Beck had it all wrong playing strats
Lol! Its just such a big difference when switching from a LP to a strat. IMO 2 out of three of the guys you just mentioned sounded better with the LP.
brian george lol well I disagree but its all good I prefer a strat but I have nothing against a LP and I own one and you are very right about switching but there is no way Hendrix sounded better with a LP.. Peace!
I was referring to Clapton and Beck sounding better with a LP. Hendrix was a Monster on the Strat .. totally agree with that.
you have to be a man to play a strat like hendrix, stevie or joe, shredding on an LP is a little easier probably because of the action
Nice.
Shame the drummer didn't listen to the original.
With decent drums this would rock.
Not quite as good as Chantelle McGregor's version, but a decent effort.
Ridiculous!
Amazing guitarist,but bad singer....Anderson is a legend
dude this isnt his best lyrical gig, he's an overall incredible musician and player, he can hit vocal notes as high as the heavens man
I wouldn't say he's "bad". He definitely has a more stereotypical "white man blues" voice, a much different style than Ian's for sure. Overall, I thought it was a good take on JT, although I like the more subdued, less solo-y, original.
