No, generally not really. You can get a trade license though and freelance :)

Hi Jan, thank you for this video!! You did great. My fiancé (czech) and I (filipino) are in lesbian relationship, she just proposed to me few weeks ago and we’ve been together for over 3 years now. We both have jobs in our different countries, but mine is remote and i can basically bring my work anywhere i go. So will this partnership visa for non-eu and eu citizen will work for us especially we are in non-heterosexual relationship. Planning to start application next year and how much money should i have in my balance for proof of funds?

Hi Jan Kalina . Thanks for all the informational videos you post. You have been a great supporter for the people who are naive and in big confusion . Couple of questions from my side.
1. I am holding blue card and I am working in Czech since almost a year. I want to apply a LT Residence permit for my wife so that she can come and work in Czech . Is it fair to do?
2. As I am living in Czech, Can i submit the documents on her behalf in the MOI in Czech or will I have to apply from India . If there is any document outlined about how to take appointment for this and overall process please share . It would be a great help .

As for your questions:
1. Sure, not a problem.
2. First application must always be done throught the Embassy. That makes it very difficult in New Delhi. We have been trying for our clients for three month without any appointment booked, even though before we were able to get appointments regularly.

Hi, first off I'd like to say that I'm grateful for your videos and they have helped me alot. My boyfriend is from czech and I'm from Uganda, we've been dating for atleast a year now. We met in south africa and we traveled to uganda together but he recently went back home. I'm still in the process of applying for a (visitor's) shengen visa and we plan to get married in czech when I get there. I'm not sure if mentioning plans to get married in my visa application is good or bad, can you please give me some advice on this
Hey, thank you for your comment and the nice words! We primarily focus on long-term options so I do not have much experience with short-term visas. From what I've heard and what I know, I would probably not mention the plan to get married.

@@patriciamuzei9219 Yes, technically not a problem :) A lot of documents needed though, so it should be planned a lot in advance.

I would like to apply for a work visa or anyother, frankly i got a refusal from the UK my agent had cheated me by submitting fake document, now i dont have any idea is it ok to apply for any visa to cezch republic and am married too

Thank you! I need to watch it again myself, dis not know I was going for funny 🤓 As for your question, yes, you will first need to get a short-term visa to come to CZE and once here, apply for the Temporary Residence Permit :)
Thank you so much, that helps a lot. Sorry, two more questions: Would visiting my spouse be a valid purpose for travel when applying for the short-term visa? I ask, because the visa process is quite strict for South Africans. Also, I plan on teaching English once I’ve settled there, would it be more advantageous to find employment before or after I’ve applied for the long term visa? Thank you, Jan!
@@Cai-bw6bt Yeah, visiting a spouse isna good enough reason :) Especially if you travel together :) As for teaching English, I would wait with that for after you arrive, it will not help the short-term visa :)

Hey! If you are just dating and none of you male money, it makes no sense to apply.
@@jankalina-CzechVisaExpert as of now she is working but will leave her job soon to join another so will that make some difference
@@ArpitYadav-vb6ih As part of the application, you have to show that you are making enough. The minimum amount for two people (can vary from case to case but generally) is around say 26k net. If she makes that, you should be fine, if she does not, you might need to search for an alternative solution.

You can get married under the tourist visa but it would require a lot of planning and documents.
