Loud pipes can sound great around town and all but go for a long ride and they beat on you and wear you out. Year ago I was in a good-sized riding group heading to the other side of the state. I found myself behind a Sportster with straight pipes. I got whipped and felt flogged. No bueno! On the way back I made sure he was behind me. Much better ride on the way home.
My brother in law had that exhaust.. it does sound nice. The "Muffler" part is kind of large looking on the bike though. I'd personally want something that is down low and tiny. Nice video though!
Wonder if you could buy that header pipe separately and then get the Akrapovic slip on ? I believe the Akrapovic flows as good but has a deeper and not as loud sound .
an exhaust like that basically livens ups the throttle due to removing the cat restriction. Faster no but normally a quicker response to throttle input. Your intake balances that out too. Nice bike!
So I have a 2025 with 30 miles on it I'm gonna do the yoshi gt2 full pipe, do I need the intake and a flash or tune for the ecu of will it be fine without one?
Be careful doing air box mods without a tune because the bike will run lean usually.. you want to keep a stock intake & you can do exhaust tho... 🎵 🎶👌 Rev that thing up! But you do not need to go near the red line on the tach, about 8K RPM redline is perfect for that bike I had a Grom & rode it over 4K miles 😂 fun fun fun
@@KirkKreifels right on Kirk! Be careful out there & enjoy yourself! It's a fun bike, mine was the 1st year 2014 with the 4-speed ⚙️box I had a Leo-vince slip on exhaust. It was totally stock in perfect condition when I sold it to the next person he was VERY happy to get it not being destroyed & raped like most people do to them haha. God bless 🙏💯👍👍
Get the tune…. More power in low to mid rpm. You will loose top end power though for example my grom used to do 85 with a tail wind going down hill now I can only get to low 70s but I will take the low to mid power gains. I have the tyga top mount exhaust with a tune and the tst air box.
Can you share what mirrors you have on your Grom please? Exactly what I'm looking for for mine. Want to get more power, get DHM cam, intake and DHM tune. You won't regret it 👍 Always useful to buy the DB killer, for long rides they come handy.
It sounds louder not better and that loop hanging down hurts it's off road capabilities Maybe build your own and make a more compact muffler. It's not that hard.
Unless you enjoy making a nuisance of yourself. I've ridden for 58 years and have only once put on louder pipes. Never had anyone appear to not hear me coming even with stock exhaust.
Your enthusiasm speaks volumes :)
Thanks Yoshi!!
Can’t wait to see if it’s worth it
Oh, that definitely sounds so much better.👍🔥
It looks better, performs better, and sounds better. But does it smell better?🤔Love exhaust smell.😅

Looking forward to the Honda motorcycle reviews
Loud Pipe “Save Lives” 😂😂 ask about that to MotoJitsu 😅

Do you need to tune ecu if you only swap the entire exausth ?
Kirk, you may be running lean if you modified the airbox and added a high flow exhaust.
Time for a tune! See what that little Grom can do!
Yes that's the plan!
5:30 nice sound
Damn he ALREADY had the exhaust video I wanted being edited.

Going to get an ECU tune soon

Thanks! I plan on keeping mine forever 😉 do you miss your Grom? Do you still ride?
Did you measure clearances? What is the differences.
Thank you .
On the off roads I used to ride that loop would be torn off in minutes. It ruins the off road capability.
A snag pipe.
Naples, FL?

That's a cute tip
Get Aracer Ecu for more power 😊
Does it run better?
Seems faster but I need an ECU flash because it's likely running lean
It sounds like a Yamaha yfz or a Honda trx just not as loud.
It sounds louder not better and that loop hanging down hurts it's off road capabilities

Grom is a 95% street bike....
It's not too loud. Gees.
Grom defo. needs an exhaust upgrade... Do you need a Yoshi? No, should you put $100.00 into it....hell yeah.
Cool
There is no such thing as "too loud". Ppl don't see bikes, but they do hear you.
Unless you enjoy making a nuisance of yourself. I've ridden for 58 years and have only once put on louder pipes. Never had anyone appear to not hear me coming even with stock exhaust.
Every time I hear bikes coming I always want to hop on mine and join
11:00
How is this any better then a $99 Istunt exhaust??? Ill wait!....and stock Honda grom exhaust is 10lbs....so not double the weight! Lol
Read a dyno graph and you'll figure it out
So bad, people hear you would 100% want to do something to you. I will never put a loud can on my bike, stock one is already too loud.
Nation?
He said traffic………LOL
Bro. Change those mirrors before you do exhaust work. Those are hideous.
Dude. Parking garage. Nuff said.
Down the rabbit hole you go! Time for a DHM cam and tune.
Just ordered the tune. Too lazy for the cam lol
