One good game from Murray against a Luka-less Mavs team doesn't make the Nuggets a contender. Considering how poorly Murray has played all season, he was due for a good game. Let's see if he can keep it up.
Still need 1-2 more solid rotation players, but even with this roster they are definitely a contender. A little more depth would all but guarantee another championship though.
If Murray plays like he did the past few months they aren't going nowhere, love Russ, but come playoff time he gonna be a decent role player at best. We don't need Murray to drop 40 every night, he just needs to be consistent. Denver also lacks defense and 3pt shooting.
They are wholly dependent on Jokic their team got clowned and embarrassed without him. They arent contenders at all lol paying 2 role players max money both Murray and MPJ should give half their salary to Jokic.
I'm gonna say maybe. Normally i would say only top 3 in the east or west really have a shot, but then I look at the teams in the west, and I kind of see it. OKC/Rockets are kind of young/ dont really have much finals experience as a team under their belt. Might not have the experience in the play-offs to beat a team like Denver or Dallas. Grizz are kind of in the same boat because in the years Ja, Bane and Co were meant to be getting that play-off testing, they were out. I will say this 4th and 5th in the west is gonna be interesting if it's Denver/Dallas. I could see a run from either team. Obviously if they place higher that makes them automatically contenders, but this would be the one year I would consider the favourite going into the finals either the 4th or 5th seed
@kjjr3270 I'm going off stats. If you look through history, I think all but 2 nba champions that have come from outside the top 3. The 1969 Celtics finished 4th and the 1995 rockets were 6th. So, just from a statistical perspective it's really only ever the top 3 in the East/West. From 4-8th have a 7.05% chance make the final and just 2.56% chance of winning the final. 3rd has 10.25% to make the final and 10.25% to win 2nd has a 25% chance to make the final and 20.50% to win 1st has 57.70% chance of making the final and 66.66% of winning
They were back for 5 minutes and then joker hurt his elbow.... jinxed
It was a great game. I'm a Spurs fan, but I'm loving the Nuggets now too. Nice to see Westbrook come back to life.
As I've said before. I'm no Nuggets fan, but I won't be mad if the Nuggets get Westbrook his first chip.

Murray will be back to his normal self tonight, don't worry.

Injured Mavs team
And this matters why? They still beat them.
They played horribly, embarrassingly bad last night, and only Luka is gone
@@Nice-sm5hr lively went out in the middle of the 1 st quarter
Nuggets are going to the finals and winning it if Murray locks in from here on out!!🤞🏽🔥
Don’t count last night’s game though because my Mavs just disappeared

There really are only 3 contenders...

Not without Jok
Keep up the good content Mick! Whoever this first comment is has me blocked lol, can't see it.

Nuggets aren’t winning a ring this year
Bit too soon lol bench still terrible
I mean since they didn’t beat one 50 win team and had the wacky run with those teams I say yeah 😂😂😂😂
The problem isn’t that they got worse… their issue is a handful of teams have caught up to and surpassed them
The issue is they lost nearly all of their role players from their chip.
