Ive actually used & lock picked with both, the Grimm one, and the Sparrows, and the Sparrows in my opinion are of a much better finish and quality. I like to test the tools I might need to rely on, even if it means taking it apart and having to purchase another one. Grimm does have some nice EDC stuff, but if it was me needing to rely on lock picks, Sparrows all the way.
Thanks for the feedback! For lockpicking starter kit, any basic set works wonders, just make sure its a reputable brand, not the unbranded ones from Amazon or Ebay. Brands I recommend are Sparrows, Covert Instruments, TOOOL, and SouthOrd. As for the shims and other tools I use, here is my list (updated to about 90%, still missing a few things): github.com/DavidProbinsky/RedTeam-Physical-Tools
Thank you for the feedback! Yes I do, its on my page, here is the link: www.linkedin.com/posts/davidprobinsky_red-team-my-edc-every-day-carry-gear-activity-7081064462350209024-zwda?
I honestly forgot to add it in the video, as I dont carry it with me on my person at all times. But I do keep it in the car. The one I use is a Gerber Multitool. Ill include it in a future video.
Thanks for the feedback! For loiding, it really varies on the size of the gap, but if it was up to my preference I would mostly use a Travelers Hook (The Covert Companion has one). And for picking locks, I love the Bogota Rake, and for single pin picking, I love the Monkey Paw from Sparrows.
The Keysy is convenient in the sense that it fits with your keys, but it can only do Low Frequency Reading and Simulation. That is where the new Chameleon Ultra comes in. Its almost the same size, if not smaller, than the Keysy, PLUS it also does High Frequency, outperforming the Keysy, and even the Flipper Zero.
Red Team is hacking, but also includes Physical Security and Social Engineering. I uploaded another video called PenTesting vs Red Teaming, where I explain a bit of them. As for the Flipper, I have a video on that coming soon.
Thank you for the feedback, and more content coming soon. I also would like to thank you, I truly appreciate physical security topics being taught, I feel most books talk very little about it.
I have a few phones depending the use, that one is not my personal. I like the One+ with Nethunter for engagements, as it has multiple tools I use along with a external antenna for packet injection. I also do not have the Nethunter connected to any carrier. All activity remains offline.
@DavidProbinsky OH, absolutely. Every Red Teamer I've dealt with have been nothing if not helpful, insightful, and just cool. If I catch my teams slacking, I send out emails of possible red team activity to get them on their toes. You guys are the bogeyman for security supervisors. 🤣🤣
Thanks!! It is stealthy indeed! If you are into Red Teaming too, I have a github with most of my engagement tools, feel free to check it out: github.com/DavidProbinsky/RedTeam-Physical-Tools
They have different prices for each of the items. In the description are the links for each of the items and where to find them. Also to note, currently the Covert Companion lockpick kit is in discount at their website for a 4th of July sale.
No firearms mentioned as I was trying to have a more broad audience. Similar to how Camera/Photography people have their EDCs, as well as people who do a lot of outdoors stuff and have their EDCs. My focus was mostly for Red Teamers, related to Cybersecurity.
For viewers, don't ruin your titanium. How does one ruin it, let's say you have the Ti Pi set in a nice leather case, but then you want to add maybe a comb pick or a Quick Stik...wait, wait! The reason why you have Ti tools is to not set off metal detectors, but now you just ruined it by adding a steel tool. Carry magnetic items with other magnetic tools, not with your Ti. Go through a metal detector (not x-ray) and take your keys out of your pocket while the Ti tools stay in your other pocket. Clearly it is #NotThisTime as this is a six month's old video. lol Those Sparrow cards are cool, but better to carry tools in a form you can use over and over gain. If you do break your card, try to get a magnetic business card some venders give out, or use a piece from a magnetic bumper "sticker".
I would love to see that the secondary bag and if you don't like those cards maybe the ones from Grimm or better

Forgot to add, Ill be making more vids and content on my gear as well as other Red Teaming stuff.
@@DavidProbinsky maybe you can also look into the SWICK
I had not seen that one before, but I will definitely look into it, thank you!
Love the videos. Some demos with the tools would be great. Can you list a starter lock pick set and door shims that you use most often on jobs

Thank you for another set of tools for the offensive side. Do you also have the kit set up on a LinkedIn post?

This vid Reminds me as a child, used to smash 22 lr with a hammer trying to break windows placed in front of the lead. 😅
What's the make and model of your watch?
It's the Invicta Pro Diver 0420
hi, whats the make of the phone you installed the nethunter on
Hi! The make and model is the OnePlus 7 Pro (Model GM1917 with Dual SIM)
@@DavidProbinsky thanks
What about an edc multitool?
I honestly forgot to add it in the video, as I dont carry it with me on my person at all times. But I do keep it in the car. The one I use is a Gerber Multitool. Ill include it in a future video.
Great video sir! Keep them coming.
Thank you!! More coming soon for sure!! 🙏🙏
Nice kit! Which lock picks or loiding card do you find yourself using the most?

@@DavidProbinsky Thanks! Gonna check out the Monkey Paw. Never heard of that one. 👍🏻
Why don't you use the keysy thing anymore?
The Keysy is convenient in the sense that it fits with your keys, but it can only do Low Frequency Reading and Simulation. That is where the new Chameleon Ultra comes in. Its almost the same size, if not smaller, than the Keysy, PLUS it also does High Frequency, outperforming the Keysy, and even the Flipper Zero.
@@DavidProbinsky awesome! Thank you for the detailed explanation!
What is red team is it a hacking team if so what do you think of the flipper zero
Red Team is hacking, but also includes Physical Security and Social Engineering. I uploaded another video called PenTesting vs Red Teaming, where I explain a bit of them. As for the Flipper, I have a video on that coming soon.
@@DavidProbinsky sweet thanks for the reply where is a good starting point for all of it
Red Teaming has multiple sub topics, but at least for Physical Security, the place to start is with Lock Picking.
I just discovered your channel and it is great. I teach Information Assurance at a university and cover physical as well as 1s and 0s. #NotThisTime

@@DavidProbinsky Your welcome I’m learning about the electronics side of things.
Being in Cybersecurity, I’m surprised you have a Chinese smartphone!

Man, I have had to fill out so many reports thanks to you guys. #NotThisTime
My apologies on behalf of me and other Red Teamers in the field 😅🤣 ... I do hope they stuck around after the engagement to help you fix any findings!

I'm going to have to change my work email signature to "IT Security Bogeyman" 🤣🤣
The ring is the coolest piece I had no idea about! I'll have to incorporate that into a load out. It's stealthy.
