Get this, i work with fire protection and detection. I have a linked structural file that i use as a base for measurement. I have an architectural file linked too and on some places architects have made a slab that is 100mm lower than structural. Now the problem is that structural slab is not straight, there are also 2 concrete columns that hold more weight so the slab is thicker in some parts. In the end it looks like upside down staircase of sort. The rooms are weirdly shaped and i need the exact volume for gas suppression. Now the problem is that lower architectural slab. The space doesnt go to structural but stops at that architectural slab. I could not find a way to make it calculate from struc slab at all. Cant turn room bounding off for arch link since it has block walls that we need. How do i do this without manually doing math for this? Its such a pain and im not good at math.
