Wow, I am in the process of creating a template with some custom stacked walls (therefore no need to duplicate). This will help immensely as I can associate these new walls with thier keynotes automatically
Thanks for the video. I know you mentioned it briefly, but is there a way to add/include any additional parameters into the Keynote legend? I have several situations where I want to filter/sort the data a bit more with a custom parameter, but I can't add one no matter how many workarounds I have tried. I could use the Notebox method instead, but I prefer to keep everything as keynotes. Any ideas?
Thanks that was really helpful, I have a question regarding keynoting an elevation... why can't a reveal have a keynote? I couldn't edit its family to have a keynote either
Good question! You might have to use a material keynote instead of an element keynote. The element keynote will only allow you to pick the window/door family as a whole. A material keynote will allow you to pick the reveal material and tag that
I understand how to use them. But I don´t quite get why this is better than just a Typemark, description and a schedule. I don´t know if I´m missing something or is there some advanced way to use keynotes?
Thanks for your comment! I explain the benefits of Keynotes at the beginning of this video. You can also use category tags to a similar effect, but I find Keynotes better personally. It simplifies your model and ensures no mistakes remain when making changes.
I finally learned how to use keynotes with your video, thank you. My question is can you wrap texts? I am using keynotes in details, and the actual note not the number. Maybe thats the problem keynotes are meant to use the number I guess right?
The best video on keynotes! You are a natural teacher!
Wow, thank you so much Larry! Cheers

Glad to hear! Cheers. You can use the actual notes on details, no worries. You can't wrap text in the sense that you distort the shape of it.
Hey mate, is there a way to create a legend with imagery/symbols/detail components?
There is, but I wouldn't recommend it. Keynotes or schedules are the most effective way to create legends.
Cheers
@@kylesinko Thanks mate, love the videos.
