    I have a question can you job hunt or are you allowed to find a job as a tourist or should you go to POEA to find a job suitable for you?

    • @aki_nter
      @aki_nter 3 місяці тому

      Your visa doesn't allow a tourist to work, typically you can apply online through a application then go through the process of getting the working visa with the company

    I plan on coming for a month in 2023 if possible, then hopefully move there later, as I want to be a JET, eventually. Maybe go to Budokan Nippon and shows there.

    Hi, Your video is really helpful. One question, you said at 39,000 yen is cheaper. Is that a month or a day. Because for a day that is pretty expensive, isn't it and for a month, that's really cheap. Let me know. Thanks.

    I accompanied my brother to Japan for his new job in 1988. He needed an apartment in Nagoya. I took him to Kawana because the kanji was very easy. Popped into the very first real estate office and told the guy he needed an apartment for a year. Guy was in shock because I conducted the whole transaction in Japanese. He got the apartment, no problem.

      Hi, do you mind if I ask a question?
      I'd be coming from the UK with two cats.
      In my research, people suggest it would be quite difficult to find somewhere that would allow two cats. Is this true?

    • @pklucas9790
      @pklucas9790 2 роки тому +1

      @@Wafercat Unfortunately, yes. But this doesn't mean it's impossible. There are places that accept pets for sure though. Find the right one that you'll like could be difficult.

    • @Wafercat
      @Wafercat 2 роки тому

      @@pklucas9790 thank you for your response.
      I'd be willing to be patient and try and find the right place that would accept me with two cats.
      My next question is, would this be possible on the basic english teaching pay of 230,000 a month?
      I know it will depend on the property but would it mean a higher monthly rent for having pets or would it just be a one off payment to get myself through the door?
      Thanks

    • @pklucas9790
      @pklucas9790 2 роки тому +1

      @@Wafercat if it's just you and two cats 230,000 is enough that's usually the pay where people start when they get to Japan.
