Koenigsegg is genuinely the most well rounded hyper car of all time. Sure, you can make it light, or fast, or look ridiculous, but does it have exploding bolts? Does it have safety? Is it legal in every country in the world? Can you put a ski box on it? Can you run it on biofuel? Can you do XYZ?

Then they add several kilograms of paint (unless you specced a naked carbon for ~$300K) making the 30gram saving kind of silly. The more beautiful ones have even more weight of paint.
@@pjohan74 most eggs are not painted the carbon is infused with colored crystals which way the same as the carbon. either that or its just a polish, not paint :)

If you have seen Rob’s video you will know that the stability control is so good that the car will straighten itself and will not crash.
These cars are one of the few things that makes me proud to be swedish.

I am 19 and have been following Koenigsegg since 2009 as a kid before they more recently have been in the public eye. It's been incredible to see the progress they have made and in my books, they are their own class of automobiles.

I have seen the video back in the days. I even did a (school) presentatoin about koenigsegg and used part of his video for it. No one in my class back then knew about koenigsegg and they were blown away!

1:55 I know a guy here in Germany who would definitly do that. He is so crazy with weight saving that he even uses Titanium bolts in places where strength of a normal bolt is not needed. He even changes out almost every panel to carbon fibre. He's called Philipp Kaess here on UA-cam. Some may know him from his 1000+ HP Audi RS4 Limo build (which burned down one year ago and he is currently building a new one).

This dude's got a cool vid of him driving a red Ford GT in a cross country race and going WAAAYYY over the speed limit and deciding to run when the cop clocks him from the median and his buddy hits him on the 2 way radio that they all have for communication and tells him the cop is now in pursuit. He runs 130-150 mph to the next exit which is about 15-20 miles away. Pretty slick run. Steve

The Koenigsegg Regera is by far the best sounding hypercar I've ever heard. Although the Pagani Zonda is a favorite as well.

Koenigsegg without doubt is one of my favourite modern car manufacturers the cars are incredible and Christian is exactly the ambassador they need, it is incredibly difficult not to listen as a car enthusiast when someone clearly so passionate and knowledgeable about the industry speaks and clearly there's an incredible team there pumping out some amazing vehicles.

If your a car guy and your not interested in one of the most fastest cars on the planets thats just not logical and i mean no disrespect. But it’s like a doctor whos an OBGYN surgeon and if you didnt know doctors have to always keep up with technology and time just like car guys thats why they love newer cars. But back to my theory so they come out with a machine that can deliver babies and also help them be more accurate while doing surgery that later on will trump old ways of how surgery was performed and that doctor then says fuck do i need to learn about something that my hospital cant afford right now that we probably would never get to use.
One of the most beautiful and in my opinion the best cars ever made, watch the documentary on them, they got black flagged on the Nuremburg ring for going to fast lol so they could never truly get a top speed or lap time
Actually fun fact: the first hyper/super car I knew about was the 'Koenigsegg Agera R'
(I was young and it was in a game, under just 'agera R')

Got the opportunity to vallet a Regera out of a multi floor garage in Dubai. Even sitting inside that car on an elevator I was blown away by the amount of crazy tech it has. Oh... And it is a hybrid that has crazy acceleration and 1700hp. Cristian Von Koenigsegg just know that every car enthusiast loves you and your work
