one of the best gear demo songs ive ever heard
Thanks homie, much appreciated.
best review song so far!
Thanks duder.
Holy shit this is still so fuckin groovy and creative 6 years later trey. I hear do much BTBAM influence in this trackm
Thanks man, I should bust this track out again for something, it's a good'un
Mine should arrive in a day! I'm so stoked. It's the natural finish version. Been watching this video every day since it was ordered
upgrading from a squire strat to this. the neck feels incredible.
Excellent demo! Seriously considering this guitar :)
Dude, excellent review. Awesome playing. I assume you wrote that? Those were some meaty riffs! I watched the review again to hear you play.
Thanks homes. I did write this, just for the review. It seems to be popular, maybe I could make it into a full song.
great playing. love your sense of melody.
Great playing on a great looking guitar! I've been having my eye on ibanez for some time now, I'm really digging the blue. Are these a limited run?
Awsome review... 👍👍
Considering of buying the black version. Btw, I really like the demo music! What kind of s signal chain you use there?
Great color scheme!
you've sold this to me I'm getting one!!!
What do you think about using a sustainiac pickup? I've heard that once people get one it totally changes their playing style because it opens up a lot more possibilities. but I'm not so sure how the tone will be cuz no stores really having a working one to try
Awesome job on the demo man! I do have a question, what do you use as far as recording software on the Mac? I use Logic Pro X, and I don't typically care for the amp presets. I need a good versatile heavy metal rig, along with a nice clean tone like how you have in this video. Thank you for you time, and take care. Cheer's!
Justin Melton Thanks dude! I use Pro Tools, but your DAW shouldn't matter as much as your plugins. I personally recommend Amplitube, it's cheap (free if you don't buy any a la carte amp models, although I personally love the Engl Powerball) and easy to use. I think that's what I used on this one.
Ibanez should make more necktrough guitars or at least glued on, I find the recessed bolt-on on most the rgs really uncomfortable.
yowzers! everytime I think I'm starting to get good on the guitar, I wake up, turn on UA-cam and find someone like you who reminds me that I must pick up my guitar and practice MORE :) What are you plugging into? Amp, POD, Axe FX? Sounds awesome!
Pro Level - playing and vid
Just out of curiosity: Im thinking of getting mobile - Getting a laptop and smaller soundcard. Can you share what kind of hardware you are using in this video?
(Computer spec, soundcard etc..)
Very nice review btw Im about to order my first 7 String now, guess which one ;-)
I know this is an older video but I'm looking at this guitar and the Schecter KM7, any thoughts
Have you noticed any fretwork problems? I had ordered a different iron label model recently and the fretwork was really bad so I'm returning it and swapping for a different guitar. If the frets on these newer ones are nicer I might consider this.
I didn't notice any on the one they sent me, but the QC on the Iron Labels is guaranteed to be lower than the Prestiges. But there's no shame in ordering and returning until you get one that's to your liking.
Got one,LOVE IT 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Still love it even though I’ve got another five guitars and a mandolin since
hey great demo.... could you demo Ibanez RGIF7 too.. 7 string... thanks .. much appreciated... greetings from Nepal
Do neck thru instruments really give you more sustain? Or is that just placebo pseudo science?
Would you recommend this one or a basswood+PAF7 RG prestige [e.g. RG752FX] for hard-rock and metal?
That's a tough one. I haven't actually tried the RG752FX or the PAF7s, but I do like a somewhat brighter wood than basswood for metal (although I love my JP7). I also prefer a neck-through, but I imagine the PAF7s are better than the EMGs in this one. The 752FX is also a Prestige level instrument vs the Iron Label, which come from different factories and will have differing levels of QC and overall build quality, for about the same price. Really either is made for metal and I'm sure they're both great, so try and play both in person so you can really feel the differences.
Got it, thanks! If only there was a store nearby where I could try both at the same time...
you sound like josh gates, and kinda look like him. but yeah im def getting one of these with my tax return, just six string version. i have a schecter hellraiser hybrid fr now, want somthing with a fixed bridge. this seems like the way to go.
I saw this like more than once just for the opening song haha
In all honesty, this dude should look into writing and recording music
If they made this guitar in 6 string, and either black or white, I'd get one.
They do make a 6 string version, and there's a natural finish one coming out this year. No black or white though. I'd definitely spring for a white one, so I'm with you on that!
I don't understand why the entire range of Iron Label guitars are not available with the same finishes. The 6 string version of this I would buy today if not for the blue color
HammerDimension yep, I'd get it if it came in a flat black like the M80M
Casi quedo sordo
guitar tone is lacking these days
There is not one part of this review I did not like
Thankee kindly.
