This lady’s passion is just on its own whole level. Seriously what an inspirational woman. Keep commenting as I’m now glued to all episodes 😂 floors me everyone I watch 🥰
Love the comments and please keep them coming! So lovely to hear how you’re enjoying them 😀
@@flankfarm One day, two years ago when I was in year 6.30am . I was off school (because I was ill),I was wondering what job I wanted, so I could pass the time despite being away from school, I just couldn't decide, then I stumbled across your channel and from there I decided to take up farming as my future. Thank you.
This should be a tv documentary like farming life. It’s a real insight into the real world of smaller scale farming without the Hollywood touch. Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming.
Love your videos; just the ticket when I am up early in between lambing . Keep them coming excellent stuff , love your mums positive outlook .
thank you for doing this, as a small farmer in the US, I really love seeing an older woman passionately doing what she loves! Cheers!
I like what your doing i live on a farm and I love it when people show the process of farming and how hard it is
Thanks George, glad you're enjoying the videos. Do let us know if there are things you think we should talk about!
Im watching all of this playlist today and second video in, i'm loving it. The filming is honestly so professional if someone told me the BBC filmed this I wouldn't think twice, such great storytelling.
Absolutely love, love, love this. SO inspiring. My dreams to have a wee homestead in Scotland one day and you make me believe it is possible. And the quality of your content is so good. Like a BBC show. All the best from Scotland
Love your story, love and humor while working with your mom. Reminds me of me and grandpa when we raised dairy replacements and beef... Oh how I miss those moments. Cherish each other everyday. MORE VIDEOS!!! :-)
Not an iPhone in sight, wonderful. Old school hard work is a pure joy if you love the tasks as she obviously does. Thank you.
Nice. Thanks For Uploading
Can't get enough, I can't believe your content hasn't got more attention. Your videos are so well put together. Well done guys :)

@@flankfarm 👍
Love you videos and the enthusiasm shown for your farm and love of your animals.
What an amazing woman she is
I recently started my own sheep farm. I’m so inspired by these videos because like your mom..I’m no spring chicken. The cold, the heat, I’ve just got to work through it and around it. Being fully disabled is pesky but I lift what I can, buy tools and have old tractors to help lift what I can’t. I can’t wrangle animals anymore and my sheep are 140-180kgs so I bribe them with grain to follow me and step lively so they don’t push me down. But I love it. My wife who six years ago said “NO FARM ANIMALS! WE’RE RETIRED!” Just hit me up to buy her 20 more goats for our back lot! I guess we’re in his together!
Love your videos! I just got home late this evening from Dairy Farming...Not every shift runs smoothly, as I’m sure your family is well aware. However, we wouldn’t do, what we do, if we didn’t have a heartfelt passion for it. I wish you’d make more videos outside this series...Cheers from the NEK (Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, USA)
I would love to be farming but stuck in the rat race in Belfast! Great videos and excellently put together. Keep it up.
5 years later... Have you escaped the race?
Very nice👍👍

Are those small square bales or a large rounds?
Isn't it frustrating how picky sheep are.
Love your Mum! I so get the frustration, joy, and perseverance. Hats off to her.
Excellent videos😁
Fantastic bro i am waiting for new one. And your mom is super mom.
Just discovered this and I'm completely hooked. Sarah is so cool! I love seeing the passion she has for farming and the great attitude she exudes.
Nice and beautiful.
Great job ,from México
These Videos should be compulsory for all British Colleges of Agriculture.
Great job! I live in the Appalachian Mountains of America. When farming is good it's very, very good, when it's bad, it's very, very bad.👀👈
Superb lady. Seems 2 me a wonder woman.
You are lucky. Good for you. Sad my family do not support me in such project or lifestyle ..

hi flank, is your farm solely sheep...i didnt realise hay etc cost so much. whats the draw to farming
Hey, thanks for the question! It's not all sheep, there are cows, chickens and geese too. We've put a little more project info on our site if you're curious - talktoflank.com/british-farming/
thanks for the link, always nice to see how farmers cope...got onto this channel as my dogs called rufus lol cool name
This is a real life
Is the guy with her her son and if so did he grow up on the farm and does he know much about it
Those sheep are good girls and boys
It cost a lot and it is a lots of work
Just what I was looking for, fascinating to me that Europeans are still able to afford to farm. Question : you said hay was 20 pounds a bale - are you talking large round or small 50pound bales?
Also no one in England is allowed to complain about January until they’ve visited Canada in January :)
Any gardening done here? Vegetables I mean.
😂 watch out for Eric the ram, he will give u one from behind 😂😂
Your mom is great
Llynn is that rams breeding btw 😂 not lynne 😀👍
My Request to you all and scientists and Farmers market to grow such biggest Lamb farm in my State Odisha, Bhubaneswar, Khurda, Cuttack in Odisha state in India
cat cute
She needs to grow her own hay! 150 Acres? Needs some permaculture advice. She's got all the necessary land and animals. Look at Richard Jenkins channel. ..a Brit living and farming in Sweden. Amazing.
Yeah H5
Ok
I also get my a 11:14 ttention on videos
You said Llynn wrong it’s spelt like that 😂👍
Why does your mum call you josh ?x
where about in England I'm based in the south and north
Thanks for the comment. The farm is based in Bucks!
nice we started lambing in jan
Hey spread agricultural lime on your place in your barn and around your watering troughs and that will stop your foot problems in your sheep guaranteed 👌
Thanks Brennan, we let Sarah know about this yesterday. She agreed it’s an awesome tip, and said she should probably try it some more. Will keep you posted!
And you have sheep that are hoping around... i understand how difficult it is to make a wellfull life for your existing sheep... but at the same time you need more help on your ranch
i want to work
I would have watched this if it was 30 minutes long.
Hi where is your farm give me address pls
Lambs exports are now dead in the water, the farmers are bust ☠️.
Thanks for voting leave EU.
this is a very novice type breakdown of the occupation you were brought up on a farm and you come across like it's your first time ffs you don't know which stock is which you don't deserve to inherit the farm!
That's very good, could i get your email plz we need some Lambed sheep deliverying to france
