Bill Burr's acting ability is impressive these days, and it's fun seeing someone who used to make fun of Star Wars become a great character within the universe.
This is my favorite episode of the Mandalorian. There are so many incredible moments, between Din removing his helmet, the whole scene at the table, Mayfeld saying "I never saw your face", etc. One of the little things that I love, is Pedro's acting while at the table. He's so stiff and uncomfortable, and when he's looking between the other 2 people, he turns his whole head instead, like he's still wearing his helmet. It's such a small detail but it adds so much to the scene.
14:22- Except when Moff Gideon gave Mando that message, he referred to Grogu as "it." But Mando would throw that same message back at the Moff but replaced his statement with "he," which shows who deserves to have Grogu.
If you watch the previous at the beginning of the finale they actually put Din's words using "it". Not sure if it was purposely placed, or they made a mistake. I'm thinking the latter. They must have changed it in post-production.
The Operation Cinder that Bill Burr was talking about is from the Story Mode of the Battlefront ll game. Long story short, Palpatine's final order was to wipe out a bunch of planets.
This was one of my favorite episodes from Season 2 just because I love what they did with Bill Burr's character. They really fleshed him out a lot and gave him some great character development.
Most unlucky Trooper in the galaxy? The Trooper that just went in to get some food in the cantena and got blasted by Mayfeld for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. lol!
Bill Burr reallyy showed his acting chops in that table scene. Same here tho bro, this is my favorite episode of the season. Cant wait to see the finale reaction next!
How the Stormtroopers celebrated as the truck rolled into the base, to how the general spoke about the thousands of soldiers who died like they meant nothing to him. I forgot just how good an episode this was.
6:52 It's funny that you compared this to Call of Duty earlier, cause when this part happened I thought to myself: Yo Mando got a kill streak and earned a clusterstrike.
Exactly, this is one of the few episodes that we've rewatched several times. It's got such a great balance of humor, action, tension and character growth. Possibly my favorite episode.
Even if episode 8 is awesome, that's my favorite episode from season 2. Bill Burr is really impressive, maybe the best character of the season. The Cinder Operation is an absurd atrocity even for the empire, it's not really surprising to suffer from ptsd after that, and Burr's sell it very well in the table scene ! Great reaction guys can't wait for the 8th.
By this point, they probably already know what happens in the next episode, but knowing about it and seeing it happen are two different things. The boys' reaction should be interesting....

He apparently realized he was having fun. :)
He is from Space Boston too!
I had no idea who he was when this came out. All I remember was saying "That dude's REALLY good actor!"
Mando threw Moff Gideon's words right back at him, and meant it even deeper. so 🔥

"FAMILY!" got me dead
Bill Burr, even with his space-boston accent, manages to go from random mook to compelling character in one episode.

yeah you could see the PTSD in Bill Burr's face the whole time. All that pain. It's an incredible scene.

The Imperial officer also killed Bruce Wayne's parents in Batman Begins.
Ya that dude with that face is born to play villains.
@@thomasharris4942 Well...he WAS the Night King.
He was also Portman, the gay marine in Doom who died in a bathroom.
My face hurts from smiling so much!!!

Bruh, after watching Andor; the references to ISB here hit different.
Miggs Mayfeld became my personal favourite Star Wars character in this episode.
Bill Burr was incredible in the scene at the table.
That scene at the table and that last speech by Mando are so good. Still gives me chills

Almost there!
M-Dogg got a lot of women he wants as his wife.
Can't fault his taste, though. I'm a straight woman and I can't argue with his opinions.
Bill Burr acted the fuck out of that table scene
Bill Burr killed it man. Its funny he went from making fun of star wars to killing acting in the universe haha
