ive watched a lot of your vids and subscribed just ordered some dip powders to start doing my own nails.. excited to try this technique im sure it will be trial and error since im used to going to the salon but now on quarantine I need to do my own! lol
Great video Im in love with these nails!! 💅🏻 I'm just finally starting to Dip Powder on my nails today matter fact after I comment 😂II love the natural look period. Got to get brave and try it. This is beautiful!! I finally stepped up to the plate last week after a year or longer lol 😂 I used the peelable UNT for my first Gel Nails Gel alone not to into it alone. It doesn't strengthen the nail like I want it too. They popped off in a week so now I'm doing Modelones Dip Powder with peelable today!! My first time WOO HOO 🙌🏻 😂❤
I know this is an old video but I love how your blend of white goes up further even with your length of nails. I wanted these for my wedding and they told me I couldn’t because they said the white was only supposed to go on the white part of the nail and that my nails were too short to have the effect 🙄😔 I should’ve gone elsewhere but I was with my mom and sister. I had to have regular French instead. I never regularly got my nails done and I wasn’t dipping then so I figured they’d do whatever I wanted but nope!
angelenaj0Li3 I’ve found that most nail techs will say stuff like that if they’re unable to do a certain technique or think they won’t have time to do it. One of the reasons I absolutely prefer doing it myself! Congrats on your wedding!!! Sending love and wishes for a lifetime of happiness 💕
I had this same problem.. they legit told me no 😂 Same with a full bling nail, told me that’d take too long lol (it does, but girl I’m paying you for the time it takes..?

Only 1 nail took the color...it tried too soon on that one and it gummed so I waited 15 seconds for the rest and I guess that was too long. Definitely something that takes practice! Mine certainly look nothing like your 🤣
There’s definitely trial and error involved in designs like this. So many variables.. even climate! Grab some swatches and see what works best for you. You’ll get it!!

Thank you! So encapsulate means to cover and protect when it comes to dip and acrylic. I encapsulate with clear so the color is protected when I file

I'm not a pro yet but my biggest issue is removal. I watched a lot of your videos and am still trying to learn the ropes. I really enjoy watching yours and was just wondering how long did it take you before you were comfortable and liked how they turn out every time?
It was definitely a while.. probably 6 solid months of doing them ALL THE TIME to figure it all out. Lots of trial and error to find what worked the best for me.
I watched this a million times making sure I don’t do anything wrong. Before putting on the activator, my nails looked exactly like yours. I was so excited. But as soon as the activator touched my nails it removed the pink powder entirely. Idk if it’s just the brand but I was so upset
Noelle Miranda noooooo!! Did ya scrub it in real good?! I was borderline violent with the scrubbing. May have been too sheer of a pink too. I’m sorry that happened 😞 must have been super frustrating
Marla Kris I like more white than pink in my French fades so that’s probably what it was. I wasn’t scrubbing hard enough because I thought there might be too much pink on my nail. I’ll try again though! Love your videos and thanks for the reply!!
Ahh yeah, sounds like that was the issue. If you like more white than pink, just scrub a smaller section and if it’s too pink for ya, you can add a super sheer milky white dip over top (Kiara Sky natural would be perfect) and that will tone it down and help it blend more.

The natural has a slight tint to it, close to the color of a natural nail. Not clear, not white.. super subtle tint. The clear is pretty clear and is the strongest bc it has no pigment.. that’s why I add it to the top - it protects the color and adds some strength. Hope that answer made sense 🤣

As long as the pink is pigmented and now shear, it’ll work. You’ll scrub for a good minute, it it’ll work!
