I grew up just a few blocks from this location, which is actually just outside SLC, and I've seen this place remodeled and rebuilt many times over the decades. They even painted Col Sander's image on a 455 foot smokestack near here (long gone) and advertised "Harman's Welcomes You" to the world. I'm glad you enjoyed your visit.
A real little archive museum, it's incredible!
I enjoy the vintage restaurant reviews, tours and history lessons in your videos! I also enjoy watching you eat to get the full experience 👍
Amazing video as always, I'm surprised that this doesn't have more views!
We would have family parties at Lagoon when I was a kid, and one of my Aunts would always bring a big bucket of chicken.
You Are In Corbin KY KFC! It is awesome I love how they kept part of it original! Oh just saw its not ky🤣🤣🤣🤣
If you Are ever in the corbin area I do suggest going to Corbins KFC its really cool they rebuilt it to be original so they also added a mueseum and they have the chicken recipe in a vault as high as the ceiling they also have coronels suit its really cool!
Awesome video as usual Chris. Never knew the "First" official KFC was in Utah, that's so cool! I learned a lot from this vid, thanks for uploading!
Too bad Ray Croc didn’t have the same relationship with the McDonald brothers that Harman had with Colonel
That's true. However, later in life Ray and the younger of the McDonald's brothers did end up having a good friendship. Although they weren't very close, they were definitely still friendly.
The 11 herbs and spices was not the Colonel's. It was from an elderly black woman from Kentucky.
I always find these videos interesting.
Welcome to Utah
This guy is so wholesome
Well I try my dardest
No way bro! if I travelled to the USA I would try this
Too bad they closed the first Wendy’s in my hometown Columbus Ohio in 2007. You would’ve enjoyed visiting that location as it was made like a museum just like this KFC
I love the video
I can smell this video!🍗😋
Hey Chris have you ever tried the chicken liver dinner it's really good with mashed potatoes and coleslaw you should try it sometime
I like his videos
That chicken looks so good 🤤🤤🤤
Our KFC had a Buffet till the great shut down of 2020. Then they used that as an excuse and it was closed inside till last year and they got rid of the Buffet.
Bogus in my opinion, this is the first FRANCHISED store, not the first place to sell the chicken, and Corbin was the first kfc related building to even have fried chicken, so really they should call it the first franchised store, not the first one
You spoke of China and KFC.....you want a rabbit hole? Look up New Year's with KFC and gifts. It's crazy!
I had KFC original chicken a while ago. The breading seemed wet and didn’t adhere to the chicken. It used to be crispier. Something changed.
it's sad to me how they ripped the Colonel off when he sold his restaurant
hi
The first kfc that’s so cool
Hey chris i had a question do you ever worry about getting kicked out of a place your visiting due to filming? i know some places dont like people filming inside but some places dont mind it curious to know if theres anywhere youve visited that you were asked to stop filming 🤔
Oh yeah it's always in the back of my mind, and it's happened a couple of times in my vlogging career. But for the most part, filming is now universally accepted at most public spaces. To the point most people don't even notice it and I think that's just due to cell phone camera culture. So it's not as big of a factor as you would think.
I have rarely eaten at this chain
Chris when are you going back to Smittys? Or Goofy Gas? Or Creative engineering?
I don't have any plans too in the near future and I don't think creative engineering's even open at the new place yet are they?
@@SetsStreetsEats oh
Why aren’t you visiting the Hicksville, New York Chuck E. Cheese location?
What makes you think I'm not visiting there?
I know this isn't a cec video, but hi I'm Jackson. I'm 11 years old and I want to start a cec collection, but I don't know where where to look, or how to find the balls to ask one of my parents to cough up the thousands of dollars to get even an endo skeleton. Any help?
