I'm Thai, I feel emphathy for you and hope you'll find peace inside yourself which means truly happiness in the buddhist sense. Thailand is not perfect. We are still poor but just try to live in a kind and peaceful community.
I’m in Australia and nothing is different from the UK my friend. I’m in my 60’s and cannot understand today’s world. I’m glad my only daughter decided not to have children as this place is not what I would want to be born into. I don’t read newspapers, watch the news or participate in anything political but unfortunately have friends who constantly tell me things in their working life involving the ‘minorities’ who always seem to have a bigger voice than the average normal everyday working person.
I’m with you mate. I’m moving to the Philippines if things fall into place. I retire this year. I will return to the USA only to bank a few more k to invest in a hobby farm. The people are nicer as a white guy.
100% agree Richie- you are on the mark . It’s all the Western countries (🇦🇺 here), and it’s all by design. If people are kept in fear and divided, they don’t see all the downright criminal activities that the politicians and so called 'elites' (filth actually) are up to. They are robbing us blind. Luckily more and more people are waking up to it. People have the power if we are united. The fightback is gaining momentum though 🙏.
The UK is in such a mess.... everyone is afraid of opening their mouths incase they offend a precious snowflakes feelings. I turn 55 in 4yrs, unfortunately I have to wait until then. My wife is Thai and both of us will be on the first flight we can book out of here to Thailand.
I am lucky i am 56 and moved to Thailand 8 years ago when my partner sadly died and left me 50 pc of a house sale and a life insurance policy payout. Added to that there was a re-organization at work which gave me the opportunity of an early redundancy. I supplement my income teaching and it gives me a great life style here in Thailand as i also took my works pension at 55 . I have never been happier than I am now and i would not live in the UK if someone paid me. I left for all the same reasons as in the video i could not stand what had happened in the space of 20 years . If you speak out about it you are called a racist but lets be honest the freeloading immigration seekers have screwed things up royally. I was fed up with my taxes being taken to pay for people who were doing nothing and had contributed nothing to the Country. How can it be that war veterans are left on the street and asylum seekers are accommodated in hotels and then given public housing . The whole system in the UK is fcked. Good luck getting your escape key as you have earned it !
@@andyhoyle511 it's always nice to hear people's stories about them finding happiness. I've also looked at the options of completing the TEFL course as an option for something to do on a part time basis. However I don't have a degree, so no idea if I'd be wasting my money or if it would be worth while. I appreciate the money is going to be nothing in comparison to western salaries, but my other attraction to doing the course is I have a 6yr old daughter, who will be 10/11 on us going to Thailand. I was thinking if she was in a Government school, I may be able to offer help teaching English, even if it was on a voluntary basis.
Generally, I don't comment on UA-camrs but in this instance I will. I've been in Thailand now for 5½ year, retired Ex Royal Navy. I've been trying to rationalise why I'm still here. Whilst I came out here for other reason, not criminal activity but get away following shite divorce and needed a life reset. Anyways, over the past 5 years I've seen the decline of UK, US etc. Seeing what's going on I don't want to go back, buggerall for me there. Your comments regarding everything and why you want to stay are valid and spot on mate. I am in full alignment with all you said. Best wishes to you and family.
At least the UK has a decent pension ststem, Welfare system, 1984 book not banned in the UK like it is or was in Thailand, no NHS in Thailand, free to criticise Royals without going to jail, do that in Thailand you go to jail.
The UK pension system is one of the worst in Europe! It is only 31% of the national average wage, making it one of the lowest paying pension schemes in Europe. Austria has the best at 91% of the NAW
Well said, UK never puts it's citizens first, your frightened to say anything, Thailand has the right attitude, you want to live there bring your own money, otherwise don't come, respect the rules of the country, otherwise your out
The reasons of leaving UK for Thailand you have mentioned (politics, media, violence, massive immigration) are exactly the same than leaving France to Thailand. Totally identical situation in France presently, and I suppose in many other countries in Europe...
Im half thai and norwegian i Watch thai News and the same things is happen her rape minenders drugs ice ,.. i things its bad everywhere with a big population.. could be exactly just he said if u don’t watch or read about it.. then u can change the negativity and perspective but it’s really hard
Great video mate. I agree with every word you said. Videos like this truly inspires people to make the move. The uk is finished and will only get worse. I'm currently in Thailand on holiday. My 4th time here in about 2 years and love every second I spend here. Hope to make the move permanently in the next year or so.
The UK is finished because the government is deliberately flooding it with migrants or fighting age men is a better way to put it. Something very sinister is happening.
We moved to Portugal from UK 8 years ago for the same reasons as you. Portugal also doesn't get involved in other countries business. We are visiting Thailand in May for the 4th time. We love the country and everything about it
Very well said, I'm a UK expat of 25 years and do not expect to move back. One thing I will say to anyone thinking of leaving their home country is, you are who you are no matter where you are. Location will not change your personality and nature.
H Richie , ive spent 12 years out of the last 28 years living and travelling overseas , im from Scotland .... my take on this is very clear ... when you are outside looking in its obvious , when youre inside and have never been outside it's not so clear. Travel opens up the bigger picture , simple as that
No they are 'nationalistic and xenophobic. They actually dislike Westerners. Only love the foreigners money. They hate poor foreigners, that's why the visa rules long stay are so difficult I live here many years, love it, but only because I don't have to rely on an income from Thailand. Thailand is a wonderful country to live, WHEN you have money
If I was in Phuket,I could make the same kind of video like you just did,but from my Swedish point of view,we have the same problems like you talk about that happens in UK.❤❤❤
All boils down to your financial situation wherever you are in the world and your location in any country regardless...there are good and bad areas even in Thailand. When the chips are down and your health fails there is nowhere like home.
Sawadee Richie, I appreciate your perspective on the current state of the USA and the UK. While I can't speak for the UK, I've had a positive experience in the USA. I like you Richie started my own business and through hard work and determination I've been fortunate enough to make good money and establish a very comfortable retirement plan with income coming from my business, U.S government, equities and real estate. I understand the frustration with the perception that the USA is always involved in other countries problems. It would be great if more nations could work collaboratively to address global challenges. Regarding your point about handouts, I agree that it is essential to ensure that assistance goes to those genuinely in need and not those taking advantage. While I can't speak to the difficulties in the UK, I can share my experiences in both the US and Thailand have been positive. The US has treated Britney and I with the utmost respect, and I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to share our lives between the US and Thailand. Lets hope for a world where countries can come together to solve problems and build a better future for everyone. Say Sawadee Krap to Maybelle
I feel Westerners and Southeast Asian people are very compatible. Anywhere you go in Southeast Asia from Lau Pa Sat to Yaowarat Road, you will see Western families, babies, elderly people in their 80s etc integrating with the locals, enjoying themselves and living in harmony - never any conflict or issues. The feeling of "not having to worry" of being robbed, raped or murdered, judged based on your class, looks, job, wealth etc is just refreshing and you feel that immediately in Southeast/East Asia.
8 million waiting list, lazy spongers cash handouts, truly dreadful place to live. I'm from the UK and moved to Asia in 2016 and ain't ever going back. My tax is not paying for rainbow crossings and dinghy divers. 😯🤨👍
@asiatravels007 do you think many Thais don't want to move to the west. Are you clueless? Thailand is great if your a middle class or hi so thai or an expat with money.
Totally agree with you. I'm stuck here because of caring for my elderly father and other family commitments, but when the time comes I will escape from the lunacy of the UK and the west. I totally despise what is going on, and the fact that the bulk of the population can't or won't even see it makes it all the more frustrating. It's not just a case of dreaming of living in paradise anymore, the grass is always greener etc....its a case of having to for your own safety and sanity. Well done to you for doing what you have done, I wish you, Maybelle and your beautiful little daughter all the very best.
I lived in thailand, but left main reasons, i never felt accepted by the locals, you are seen as a guest a farang, most likely wont be accepted, the language barrier, you are seen as a dollar sign, maybe good for a holiday then leave, as they make it hard with the visa restrictions, i like the west, clear air, western food, family & friends
Well said Richie totally agree with you..I arrived in Thailand from UK the day after you lol... do you remember seeing no ppe at UK airport and yet on arrival Bangkok from leaving plane to getting to immigration passport control I went through ar least 5 body thermal scans each staffed by medics..Thailand locked down about 5 days later..UK were so slow and behind and suffered as a result...UK my home for 63 years is f>>ked..Stay safe and congrats to you both
That's awesome, I'm going on year 7 and it still feels like I just got here. I've been watching you for years, and a lot of your reasons are definitely factors for me too.
Richie MATE - ditto for Australia. I'm very close to 70 and GOOD ON YOU FOR A BRAVE AND TRUE BROADCAST. Health and age issues the only thing keeping us in OZ. Frequent visitors to Thailand & Philippines etc. Thought of living there many times....age not on our side. KEEP IT UP BRO
Are you really making Thailand a better world ? .. i just came to Hua Hin with the train from BKK .. poverty, incredible dirt, begging children, people living in iron huts, an old woman with no legs sleeping on the streets, King Rama X, who is the richest monarch on the planet, letting his people starve to death, a long lasting Junta in Thailand and and and .. the list is endless. It seems easy when you live in Kata Beach, but the reality, also in Thailand, isnt pink glasses 😉👍
The British royals dont do much at all to help the poor in the UK! At least the poor in Thailand can buy a nice meal for less than a pound and enjoy the good weather. Id much rather be homeless in Thailand, thats for sure.
@@robstratton6296 If you have seen what i have seen here in Thailand, you would think about that again .. i love Thailand .. i am here twice a year minimum, but Thailand isnt the paradise we are all dreaming about .. only when you can afford to live in a tourist area like maybe Hua Hin, its really nice. It is a poor country. If you look behind the curtains here, you will be more realistic. 👍
Ive travelled all over Thailand from top to bottom and to most islands. Ive lived and worked there. Ive also holidayed there over 30 times. Im not sure what youve seen that I havent. @@thejelico
@@robstratton6296 Do not want to destroy your positive opinion from Thailand Rob. Seems you dont damit to yourself that Thailand ist not "THE" paradise. There is a lot shit going on here and i do not overlook that for romantic reasons. Living in Kata Beach, talking about how nice Thailand is in comparison to UK is not representative to me.
You right mate, I originally left NZ because I was living paycheck to paycheck, never getting ahead, I managed to move to Australia and become a citizen here. It was a great country but it’s going the way of NZ. Identity politics, to many people with their hand out, I believe in a welfare system but it’s to help people when they need it, after all our forebears didn’t want people to go through another Great Depression. But people take the piss now days and have made it a lifestyle choice. In Australia 1/2 the federal budget goes on welfare. So, if you try to get head in life and work hard, the government just continue to shaft you to pay for people that refuse to work. Crime is out of hand as you said it’s brazen people steal cars and other stuff in broad daylight. Like you Richie I’m about to become a father for the first time at 48 with my Thai wife, I want to live in Thailand and raise the baby there, but she is under the mistaken belief that the education system is better here, I fear that he will eventually be treated like a second class citizen of the country he was born in, after all our abysmal government just spent over $450 million on a referendum that no one wanted. He have scum bag politicians that only care for themselves, whilst working class are ignored.
I made the same decision 2021 retired in Thailand loving life so happy . Got married to a thai women . Rented a Beautiful house . So happy I left the Uk .
Absolutely spot on my friend ;-) BlackRock and Vanguard run the world and we are look at get out of the uk very soon . We are coming over to Thailand this May to look into how things work over there.. And looking forward to a nice coffee at your place..
Richie; I totally agree with everything you said in this video. I live on Lasqueti Island in British Columbia Canada. I moved here from Calgary Alberta Canada for more or less the same reasons you left England. I’m currently thinking of maybe moving to Thailand. I’m going to come and check it out for an extended period before I make up my mind. Maybe I’ll stop by and have a coffee with you. I love your Zen like attitude. It’s refreshing to see.
you are so right, and was really nice that you told it how it is. sad to say in getting a lot worse. I also live abroad now, and hate having to go back to the UK every now and then. Always now taking my holidays in Thailand which I have done for the past 30 years. love the place as well as that attitude towards nearly everything. Keep it real.
Hi Richie, everything you said about the UK is 100% correct mate 👍, me and the missus are selling up in the UK and moving to phuket on retirement visas about September time, been going to Thailand for 15 years and love it, I know where your shop is of the video, hopefully we will call in for some food later in the year, keep up the good work 👍
I'm Chinese and what you said is 100% correct. I have lived in Christchurch for 6years and then I decided to going back to Shanghai but after 5years living that coopreat life I am physically sick of it. All I wanna do now is just saving up and move to Thiland and say goodbye to all the nonsense
Comment section is going to blow up with this video Richie 555. Every religions teachings can be boiled down to “Don’t be a Cnt” but Buddhism actually means it as they teach acceptance and I don’t think any wars have been started in his name. I would love to become a “2 week monk” to help find inner peace when I move there.
this is a fact that isn't mentioned in these types of videos, because as an expat with money, you are cushioned from this reality, as well as the governmental issues, societal ills and all these things that so many westerners that come here seem to think doesn't exist. Rose colored glasses are hard to get off.
HI Richie, I'm glad to have discovered your channel. Your family is Precious!!! I live in HI born and raised. Your positivity is HONEST !!!!!! In HI we have everything you described that goes on in the U.K. I'm glad you have found Serenity in Thailand !!!! Yes I agree with you about staying away from Propaganda, Negativity . ENjoy your LIFE !!!!!
Spot on mate…haven’t watched the news for 12 months…going by the reaction to the video looks like there is a lot of us on the same page. People power hopefully will one day prevail 👍
Not sure about the UK mate but I agree about what you're saying in Australia is the same only reason I don't live in Thailand is because I can't find away to make a income
Great Video Richie. Your thoughts and attitude greatly resonate with me. I was born in Canada, but now am retired in Vietnam. I, too, found the BS in Canada overwhelming. Thanks for this video, very refreshing.
I am originally from Germany and have been living in the Dominican Republic for over a decade now. I was last in Germany in 2017 and I am shocked with the Situation in Europe. I agree with you 1000% in everything you said and described about Europe and the USA. I think with the geographical and human distance from Europe, England, Germany, you only understand what is going on in Europe and the Western world, it borders on supervised thinking of the population. I used to want to go to Thailand, I like everything about it, but I can't deal with Asian languages, even though I speak, read and write 4 languages fluently. I don't regret for a second that I emigrated to the Dominican Republic, I will take my last breath here in the Dominican Republic. Richie stay as you are and enjoy the freedom of being.
Hi Richie, I have watched your channel since you started and this is the first comment I have made. I couldn't agree more with everything you have said. I am 78 years old and when I look back and now see what is going on in this world, as you rightly say all about money, money, money, I firmly believe that mankind will destroy everything, thankfully I won't be around!
Met you the week before, when i went to holiday in Kata. You have a good thing happening, keep at it. Myself and family lived in thailand for 30 years, i wont moved back but will continue visiting! Have a back up plan, the dream can suddenly stop!
Good on you! I ditched the UK many years ago moving with my wife to Western Australia. We saw how the UK was heading back in the late 90s. We've done brilliantly here. We've worked very hard and are now moving into retirement. Thailand is not far for us and we love it there too. We're heading out to Hai Hin soon. Anyway, good on you. You're in a much better place.
i couldn't agree more with most of what you've said, I'm from the u,k & there is no need for me to go on a rant about the u,k as you've already said it, I'm not quitting the u,k for any real reasons, other than I'm tired of travelling & want to settle down, so have decided to take early retirement this year & move to Thailand as i have been coming here for the last 20 years spending 5 months of the year to escape the British winters, i now feel that the time is right give it a go, my money will go a lot further as it has gotten ridiculously expensive here in the U,k, i love the food, the people are friendly & I've always felt safe (apart from on the roads) Thailand isn't perfect, but no where is, one thing i will say, the U.K & other countries that you have mentioned interfering in other countries is something that Thailand doesn't do & this is goes for the Thai people.......
Totally agree mate it's pretty much the same everywhere. Will be over in July definitely coming for a meal at Maybelles coffee garden. All the best Ritchie
Im living in Denmark and i feel we are connected to the metrix I'm happy for you that you left the matrix 😎 welcome too the freedom mate. One day I will do the same like you soon that's my next goal 🙏🏼❤
100% agree with everything you are saying the uk has had its better days ,the sooner i leave here the better its only a matter of time enjoy your life in thailand with your family Ritchie you are in a safer environment
We have been to thailand 3 times since 2020 and just love the place and the people. But we are all for respect the country and culture wherever you are. We have lived in Spain for 20 years now and my visits to UK have got less and less, my husband went back in february just for 2 days and said hes in no rush to go back. You have a beautiful family, enjoy every minute with them, time is precious and be grateful that is where you are going to raise your daughter ❤
I agree with you when we get old we don’t want negative energy come in ourselves. We want to live in a peaceful life with our family or with our own self.
I felt exactly the same as you . I retired to Thailand 8months ago. No regrets. I will be in Phucket April . I will visit you Coffee Garden . Stay safe Adrian 😊
I totally agree with you. I've lived in Thailand for 24 years now and only been back to the UK once. May I suggest that as you said "I left the UK". No, the UK left you!
25 years loving here No interest in returning to the UK Not sure I would like living in one of the tourist traps Very happy here in semi rural southern Thailand
You are 100% correct. The UK is in such a mess and just spiraling out of control. You made a good move getting away from a country where British people are slowing losing their rights. You daren't speak your mind for fear of being branded. I very rarely watch the news and when I do its never MSM. My wife and I are planning on leaving to go somewhere where we can live in peace without having politics, scandal and lies shoved down our throats. Keep up the good life and enjoy every minute.
My town in England is building 5,000 new houses and apartments in town centre but where is the infrastructure to cope with these people. Hospital, schools, doctors, dentists. You wait 24hrs in a.e now. What will happen nxt
Im thai living here in london..i coulden agreed more to everythings you said..thailand is such friendly country..the thai welcomed all nationality ..i hope you find happiness and enjoyed your long stay in thailand,
I agree with a lot of your comments. About people coming to the UK in boats, I would do it if I was in their position. About rural Thai areas where money is tight, it's safer than any of the tourist location. I know because I live in a small village in Chonburi. About the US and UK I agree 100%. About manors and morals UK to Thailand there is a vast difference. Thais win that hands down and it's not just Buddhism it's also the Muslim Thais. They have manors which they have been brought up with. I feel safer here than I would walking about central Aberdeen that's for sure many kids in the UK are dragged up these days. I do agree with a lot of your comments.
Left UK for Asia 18yrs ago, best thing I did with no real plan, 18yrs later, business globally and no regrets. Takes balls...and general commonsense. Keep moving forward ⏩
Spot on!!!! Well put across, you made the right decision and glad it’s worked out for you. Place is looking good. Broken Britain…..best off out if you can. Perked me up today, thank you!!
Great vid mate, so very true all your points about the UK. I'm 3 years in Thailand now and hopefully never have to go back. Congrats on the baby! Our daughter is 10 months now its absolutely flown by!
I completely agree with everything you say, I have been living in Thailand for almost a year now and I have also visited you at Maybelle's coffeegarden I have the same experience with the Netherlands and now live very happily in Det Udom.
Agree 💯%, UK is f@#ked! I sold my house in November 21 & came to Thailand (been coming since 08) Unfortunately for me I still have to return to UK for 4/6 months for work, however I turn 54 next week & I honestly don't think England will be my 'home' ever again.
It is the same in Australia now in regards to youth crime which is getting worse all the time. I have been going to Thailand for 17 years and is where I met my now Thai wife who has lived with me in Australia for 16 years. The irony is that I am 54 and looking at retirement in the next few years and would love to retire to Thailand, whereas my wife prefers to stay here in Australia.
The "Live and Let Live" attitude in Thailand is what makes it such an amazing place and I agree with you Ritchie that the world would be a much better place if every government was the same. Unfortunately they aren't and while the UK and USA have massive issues the reason they stick their noses everywhere is to keep the current world system going. It's far from perfect but they have enabled the incredible global growth and general stability (think no major wars and reliable supply chains) since WW2 which has given folks like us tremendous options & the ability to do things like move to Thailand.
I believe CANADA leads ‘the bad guys’ currently. In fact, we call it CHINADA nowadays. I moved from Scotland to Canada 50 years ago, always meaning to keep the Scottish Highlands as my base, but I met and married a Canadian and we raised our family here. We’ve travelled most of the world as musicians, authors, and doctors, so there isn’t much we haven’t seen. If we’re spared, we plan to retire in Thailand in January 2026. We’ll be 70 (God Willing).🙏🏻💗🙏🏻 Love and All Good Things, Jesse.🌹
Hey Mate, I am from Australia. So much of what this video is about is exacty what I say to anyone who will listen. I have a Thai Girlfriend here in Perth and we are 2 years off moving to Cha Am where we own a house. I would be there now except that we will wait for my pension. I am 65 and can't get the pension until I am 67 now. We are checking out. Loved the video and your follow-up video. Take care, I agree with you 100%. Cheers Geoff and Ann
100% agree with everything in this video, same same in Australia. Sorry for the long comment. Took well over an hour to watch a 31min video due to pausing to discuss topics with my wife. Had lunch at Maybelles and met you two last year. Hope to meet you two/three again in August. Was planning on retiring to rural Thailand with my Aussie wife of 30 years in 3 years when I turn 55. We have ridden Harleys across the USA and did the Mae Hong Son Loop last year on two CT125s. Driven cars from Chiang Mai and Isaan down to Phuket. Have been saying for a long time I feel safest driving in Thailand than any of the 5 countries I have driven in due to the entitled/inconsiderate drivers. 2 weeks ago I got knocked off my Honda Super Cub going home from work. Multiple broken bones, knocked out with amnesia of the accident, cracked the new helmet so could have died. Retiring to Thailand sooner rather than later now, over everything 555.
I totally agree with everything you have said, was back to Scotland last year first time in 5 years to see my children and grandkids, well what a shock it was this government have destroyed the small village I was born in,after 2 days was desperate to come back home to Thailand, life is so much easier here no stress enjoying each and every day with my Thai wife of 20 years been here 8 years now best move of my life.

All the violence and youth crime in Australia is just out of control. There is just no punishment for anyone these days and they just get away with it. Get me to Thailand asap!
Your absolutely spot on about Europe and the USA causing unbelievable trouble in the world, also the problems with theft and assault in the uk is getting much much worse and Ireland is becoming very like it I’ve been to Thailand many many times and I intend retiring there this year, i must he away from the news also as it’s dragging me down mentally, great video and very informative.

Well said. Absolutely correct. Respect the country you've turned too. Remember your place.
The reasons of leaving UK for Thailand you have mentioned (politics, media, violence, massive immigration) are exactly the same than leaving France to Thailand. Totally identical situation in France presently, and I suppose in many other countries in Europe...
Australia included in your list.
What is crime like in Thailand, especially violent crime. Is there much?

Great video mate. I agree with every word you said. Videos like this truly inspires people to make the move. The uk is finished and will only get worse. I'm currently in Thailand on holiday. My 4th time here in about 2 years and love every second I spend here. Hope to make the move permanently in the next year or so.
The UK is finished because the government is deliberately flooding it with migrants or fighting age men is a better way to put it. Something very sinister is happening.
Hi. Will you go to Thailand on the retirement visa?
Bloody good on ya Richie, 100% agree with everything you said I love you and respect you brother, keep up the truth yeehah! 👍👍👍
Every single word was 100% true Richie. 👌
H Richie , ive spent 12 years out of the last 28 years living and travelling overseas , im from Scotland .... my take on this is very clear ... when you are outside looking in its obvious , when youre inside and have never been outside it's not so clear. Travel opens up the bigger picture , simple as that
I agree with everything you said. And i love the fact Thais ae so proud
Thailand has a lot of poverty.
how is this relevant to pride in where you are from? @@Lat265

No matter where we are from we still care about our home mate
All boils down to your financial situation wherever you are in the world and your location in any country regardless...there are good and bad areas even in Thailand. When the chips are down and your health fails there is nowhere like home.
Exactly. Someone's paradise can be someone's else hell. And a paradise you're in could turn into hell if your situation changes.
Thanks!
I’m 20 years old living in the uk and I agree with every single thing your saying !
Many people in Thailand consider the UK a paradise. Sane healthcare, modest welfare state, Good place to live.
No they dont.
8 million waiting list, lazy spongers cash handouts, truly dreadful place to live.
I'm from the UK and moved to Asia in 2016 and ain't ever going back. My tax is not paying for rainbow crossings and dinghy divers. 😯🤨👍
Absolutely. That's why many Thais would love to move to the west.

Maybe you will get sick one day and need the Oz welfare system to support you!

If you take your money from your home Country Thailand is great. Most Locals aren’t doing fantastic.
this is a fact that isn't mentioned in these types of videos, because as an expat with money, you are cushioned from this reality, as well as the governmental issues, societal ills and all these things that so many westerners that come here seem to think doesn't exist. Good on you! I ditched the UK many years ago moving with my wife to Western Australia. We saw how the UK was heading back in the late 90s. We've done brilliantly here. i couldn't agree more with most of what you've said, I'm from the u,k & there is no need for me to go on a rant about the u,k as you've already said it, I'm not quitting the u,k for any real reasons, other than I'm tired of travelling & want to settle down, so have decided to take early retirement this year & move to Thailand as i have been coming here for the last 20 years spending 5 months of the year to escape the British winters, i now feel that the time is right give it a go, my money will go a lot further as it has gotten ridiculously expensive here in the U,k, i love the food, the people are friendly & I've always felt safe (apart from on the roads) Thailand isn't perfect, but no where is, one thing i will say, the U.K & other countries that you have mentioned interfering in other countries is something that Thailand doesn't do & this is goes for the Thai people.......

Fiercely agree with you sir. Thank you for posting this video. Subbed and looking forward to more.

I completely agree with everything you say, I have been living in Thailand for almost a year now and I have also visited you at Maybelle's coffeegarden I have the same experience with the Netherlands and now live very happily in Det Udom.
Agree 💯%, UK is f@#ked! I sold my house in November 21 & came to Thailand (been coming since 08)
Unfortunately for me I still have to return to UK for 4/6 months for work, however I turn 54 next week & I honestly don't think England will be my 'home' ever again.
We’ll be 70 (God Willing).🙏🏻💗🙏🏻
