I own a CB350. Yet.. I love this tutorial culture from RE. This is what is necessary to improve and contribute to the bikers fraternity & biking culture 👍 "Mr. Vinod Dasari" is doing a great amount of Job @ RE 👍❤️ All the best
this is great. RE is inspiring the culture of working on one's own machine and knowing it well. in western countries that is the norm since mechanics aren't always as accessible as in our country. great initiative. keep it up!
A few of these maintenance items used to be indicated in the owner's manual of older motorcycles. These are some basic things that anyone who loves motorcycles should know how to do.
Very much appreciable that you encourage to know the motorcycle better and make it possible for the customers/enthusiasts to be able to DIY, but on the other hand your dealerships refuse to counter sale any original RE part to the customer. This policy seems to be logical with every respect other than when the customer is willing to let go off his warranty and is willing to take responsibility for the replacement of part/parts which he wants to replace by himself. I hope you help me know more about this!
Great self service initiative . Highly appreciated it 🙏🙏. Learnt a lot from your diy videos . Please keep posting such informative videos for other models also .
It would be very good for Royal Enfield and even more so for the owners, to implement this type of tutorials also for other models, such as the Classic 500. Thank you very much.
Oh man this is great ....the main problem with my royal Enfield was with lack in availablilty of quality and professional service centers due to that iam affraid to service my bike In RE service..Now i know this .... this is called quality motorcycling package...❤❤ hope more maintenance video will be released soon
Great initiative, RE, Please come up with more tech/troubleshooting videos, also upload videos for all the RE motorcycles (present lineup) with dedicated playlists (so that the desired troubleshooting video can be found easily). My case - Every time, when I am riding I am scared if something happens in the middle of nowhere & I am stuck; but with such videos most of the common issues can be taken care off. Thanks Again For The Initiative.
I have purchased classic 500 in 17 mar 2018 then after 2 months facing problem of conset noise and I have repaired this problem for 7 times in ram motor service center nerul but still not resolved
if you are trying to own RE , make a garage in your home first. 2 to 3 sets of all moving and electrical parts stocking up can come handy too . Quality of some REs might be good , but some are really bad
Last time i had to visit service station 3 times for simple rear bearing replacement. Even after replacing them doesn't solved my problem. Now im scared to ride it for long distances
1 month since I booked himalayan. Royal Enfield doesn't care about its customer. Yesterday got a call that there will be 90 days waiting and they are still not sure if they will be able to deliver my bike
totally surprised- are u really that lazy out there? I' m riding 2 classic BMWs and applying some grease from time to time is completely normal procedure. take care of your bike and she'll last forever. guys who feel unable to even remove the rr wheel should probably consider riding some chinese scooter. and yes, I'm looking forward to my 500cc RE due in december to add to my collection- and I sure intend to do the maintenance myself!
Improve you service center employees, in Mathura there r a lot off issue with service and parts , they cheated us Otherwise I sold my bullet and take cb 350
😁 Many will understand the reason for smile. For those who did not understand the reason of the smiley might have imagined themselves to be a highly skilled bike mechanic 😜
And what wrong will happen if the axle is not greased, nothing to do with free rotation of wheel. Only advantages I feel are, 1.Lubed axle, not binding and easier to remove.2.Slight cushioning effect due to grease layer between axle and inner bearing race. But both are very trivial advantages, can do without it.
Title is not appropriate. Rear axle greasing😂 rear axle greasing is just for sliding it easy into wheel. The wheel rotation is handle by rear wheel bearing. U can change the title to "how to disassemble rear wheel."
Now RE want to make money from service centers, so they show you this type of video And most of us attempt to open the bike from seeing the vdo ending up in RE service center
Finally you guys are aware of what happening in your service center
They are saying.. who knows they have really rectified or not..?
Correct
Or rather "what's SUPPOSED to be happening" !

The culture of DIY is getting popularity thanks RE for educating us🙏🙏🙏

You should teach your service boys this!
When I give my bike for regular service the bike is actually fine, but after the service there will occur some problems
You should give more tutorial videos because to ride a Royal Enfield bike a biker should be a part-time/whole time mechanic..
lol
Well learning about your bike is a good thing..
Lmao😂 True but I guess it's good and bad at the same time
KTM and RE do have issues but they have improved by miles.
@@twowheeledparadox please tell me what " They have " Means

One of the best video from a motorcycle manufacturer, keep it up 👍🏼
Make more video like this. It helps us a lot . Not only mechanic but people too

Best vdo from any manufacturer👏🏻👏🏻. An RE hater myself but dude this is a gem.

I live 1,100 kilometres from my nearest RE service centre. Can you guys please publish the workshop manual so we can learn the torque settings?
Thanks for boosting our confidence to not to do all this ourselves :)
😂😂
Absultely right 🙂🙂🙂
😂😂 LMAO 😆
These are not at all hard. 😀 You can do it yourself if you're Passionate enough.
This is all elementary stuff. If you have ever owned a bicycle, this will be easy to understand.

Thanks for the video. from this kind of DIY we don't have to dependent always on mechanics or service center in small matters.
When is the new classic 350 launching?
I’m very satisfied with RE products, but not satisfied with your service in authorised service centre. Very dissatisfied. Please improve your service.
Fantastic move, really appreciate providing DIY maintenance video.. 👍👍👍👍👍
This is an excellent initiative. Please provide list of tools needs for a proper service.

did you forget to grease it at the factory?so you need your customers to do it
That is what RE does. They make their customers into semi-mechanic.

Dear RE, Do you want us to ride the bike or to become bike mechanic...???!!!

That's called basic knowledge and if you can't handle a simple problem like these then you shouldn't be riding a bike at all.

What about claasic 350 BS6
If you just want to grease your axle why bother to remove the chain adjuster from the swing arm, seems a bit pointless to me 🤔
And what wrong will happen if the axle is not greased, nothing to do with free rotation of wheel. Only advantages I feel are, 1.Lubed axle, not binding and easier to remove.2.Slight cushioning effect due to grease layer between axle and inner bearing race. Thank god, there service centers are dacoits , they just know to replace parts
Why not use a bike that actually needs a servicing instead of using a brand new bike. I guess that will make more sense, won’t it?
