It's a Awsome Box! I got the Versa Stack Drawers and the Big Tool Bag on the Top for my Pliers, Drills ect, so much Room it's crazy, Easy to Open and the lids Stay open when pushed back, Very Happy With it!!
I use the tradestack professionally as a contractor, mostly doing solar installs. Absolutely love it and would recommend it to anyone. The price point is great, the boxes are extremely rigid and up there with Milwaukee (the other system I use often - at some jobsites). It is real useful with the CMST21417 miniature bins too.
Thanks for the review. Great info and demonstration. Just piked this up at Lowe's for $199.00. Looking forward to more modules coming out for this set up. Thank again.
@tool in hand it is a nice touch. I was overall impressed with the system other than the attachment which there seems to be a work around for. Thanks for subscribing and commenting.
I wish they offered a customizable tower option. They offer three boxes @ $149 as a set and if purchased separately the price would be $89, $59, and $49 for a total of $200 (rounded up). I would rather have the bottom box and the two drawer tradestack box for $149. I feel this would give a better option for big and small tools. Overall it looks like a great system and I will be getting it. May have to look for sale or bargains and customize anyway.
People say negative things about this tool box set but I saw them in Lowe’s and is now being sold online at amazon separately but for a DIYer in your own home to me is great and what else would you need the roller and the larger box is perfect for most of your tools with a tool bag as well I like this tool box and dewalt’s tstak that has the handle on the top I like both of these two boxes but this craftsman tool boxes has an auto lock feature that I like like the dewalt 2.0 tough system but the craftsman is a like bit inexpensive and affordable the dewalt tough system is too expensive and you should just buy the deep box on sale and buy husky three sizes bags on sale at Home Depot for 12 dollars just for your power tools and hand tools and the deep box for circular saws and saws saw and etc.
I'm glad I stumbled across this video was on the fence with the versa stack I need something more durable but I love the craftsman name from my childhood this seems more job site durability
I'm satisfied with my DeWalt tough system 1.0 this Craftsman does look nice in fact it all made by Keter. They make the pack out for Milwaukee Ridgid rolling system husky
versa stack and trade stack are on sale now at Lowe’s, which one would you get if you already had the craftsman jobsite radio and we’re only going to use the toolboxes for storage in the basement?
The Versastack failure is not a huge problem at all. The adapter even states not to pull up on it. The Tradestack boxes themselves don't "fail" like that.
@@makinlifework9345 I’d say it is an issue seeing whereas the main selling point was that it’s compatible with versa and Dewalt. Considering these are the only three boxes trade stack has.
Don't think it was a issue about brand name just quality. With flex coming out with their similar boxes to the "red" company, except their locking mechanism. Those boxes will take the back burner like versa stak and DeWalt 1.0

no it’s $149
I like the fact that it's backwards compatible with Versastack.

@@makinlifework9345 what’s the workaround for the Faulty adapter?

Thanks for the view I’m looking for a good tools carrying since I’m doing more rehabs on houses

They surpassed my expectations.
Great review and it looks like they are really good. Thank you, I'll be picking one up soon.
Great video! I should have water tested my Tradestack. That was a good idea.
Notice how low the steps were ? If you go down a normal step, it hangs up on the back box. What's up with that?
Looking forward to an update!

I have both the dewalt 1.0 and craftsman tradestack. I found my dewalt at goodwill for $20 and my craftsman for $50 at a pawn shop. 😌

I agree with you that it’s not a huge issue. Thanks for watching and commenting.
There’s a video out there with a small mod to fix that issue. Essentially just glue some zip ties to the inside and it makes it extra sturdy.

Is the handle removable at all?
Nice review. But when measuring, please do LxWxH.
Why do you only measure depth and length but never width?

What size of combo or key lock can you use on this thing?
How many inches deep is the main Bottom box?
Thank you
