Lucy Brown (band) Live at CBGB 1989

Lucy Brown was a band from Washington, DC, I was friends with Gene Hawkins formerly (The Now). When I relocated to New York City to pursue my art education at the School of Visual Arts, Gene's band made its way to the city to perform at CBGB's. I borrowed an 8mm video recorder from school for the occasion.
A few years down the road, Gene passed away, and I couldn't find the heart to revisit the footage. Now, after three decades, I've decided it's finally time to share this footage with the world. While the audio quality is quite good, what truly stands out is the band's incredible cohesion and talent. They had so much potential, and I believe more people should be aware of Gene and Lucy Brown.
