5:58 and Matt's singing at the same time!!! That's HOLY SHIT!!! This my favorite Rancid era though. I LOVE "Life Won't Wait". It's my favorite Rancid album next to "... And Out Come The Wolves".
Yeah, I sounds so thick & full. Jazz bass tone (w thin, weak single coil pups) doesn't do it for me. Not into high treble klank tone. It does look like his bass HAS sc pups, but they look like Nordstrand (high output single coils).
Punk rock doesn’t necessarily mean music it’s how you were raised and what you believe. It’s more of a way of life and I believe that Tim and Matt are just as much punk as Lars
Hello, this was filmed in 1998, which meant that they still had those big heavy cameras, the producers were probably going "Everybody please stay calm, we need the space to move our cameras around."
I love these cats so effing much, I got to see them four different times live and they are very much one of my favorite punk bands ever! Punx not dead and it never will be!
The shirt tim is wearing is a friend of mine band Stopper from Atlanta. The were around from the early to mid nineties. They opened for rancid around 94. The shirt is a picture of Dave schumate puking. The picture was taken at the perfect time when the puke hit the ground and was bouncing back up off the pavement. Great times. I wish I could go back to that time period! Love ya Dave and Ian!
Saw them a bunch growing up while playing in punk rock bands out Oside CA. They were one our favorite groups keeping the torch lit by the Clash and many other great groups , they are just as important and great. Some of the best times seeing them live back in the 90’s!
This is great. As many times as ive seen these guys over the years i never once heard them play a single track off Life Wont Wait. My favorite album by theirs.
Rancid is of the greatest groups ever. Punk Rock for fevvver. It's not dead!!!! Rancid and One Crew have some amazing material. And you probably do too. It's 202?!? Form a band. Love ya!!!! -RDV
Wish I had been there top gig love rancid and we're is the big pit are still fucking amazing live and lars and Tim still have it come to England more please
Yea man, i never seen such an uptight audience when RANCID of all bands is jammin, whatever, Freakin hanses didnt know what hit them back in 98! Fantastic musicians and Matt Freeman is a Base savant!

Riccardo Brio do you really think they know 5 chords. I've got to go put on my headphones and listen to all 4 parts of Lou Reed's "Metal Machine Music " to clear my head.
@@weirdsideelly3111 makes punk look bad, i wish people would stop spreading this nonsense. so many "punk" bands use more harmonically rich chords and structures.
Lol during Matt's solo in Maxwell Murder the best they found to show us was Brett's back. The guy plays a whole solo and doesn't appear once on screen. They did the same in another show (I think it was an earlier one and it can be easily found on YT)
I love rancid. I can sing Lars and Tim's parts and the early Matt Freeman lyrics word for word. I been a fan since 1993. I also am a fan of operation ivys record. My favorite modern punk band.

Still gives me goosebumps....Lars, Tim, Matt and Brett are GODS
these guys are sooo REAL.....amazing musicians and straight punks to the bones....love em

He's a different color but where the same kin. I treat him like my brother he treats me like his.
the piano guy is like a happy nerd that finally allowed to hang out with the cool guys in high school
their performance of Hoover Street is so awesome. Amazing set overall
this album is twenty years old this year... Life Wont Wait
Matt freeman is a beast! Rancid has been my favorite band for about 25 years now
Are you a philanthropist?
a band in its peak. amazing
For real. And great sound and video.
I agree I love them at therapy, but they really aged well and then new stuff they put out his great
One of the best punx bands ever .
Love rancid. I'm a big tim Armstrong fan
Except at this show, where they were essentially one of the best Ska bands. Lol
matt freeman: one of the best bassplayers of all times
Goddam right
considering this is almost 20 years now..:)
yes he adds a lot of funk and melody. Too bad I could never play like him.

And all masters of their craft - with their uniquely RANCID sound. Tim and Matt were pioneers with Op Ivy, but Lars brings so much to RANCID.
Lars is really the quintessential punk rocker

The bass sounds so good. What a solid recording 10/10
AMAZING. I could watch on repeat all day.
this is the high watermark! this is the best rancid era. Life won't wait just dropped, and they are lovin it!
Rancid 🤟❤️🇨🇦😊
What an amazing concert video. Thanks uploader 🤜
I must say... I think I am a better crowd just sitting on my bed watching this on youtube haha
be careful moshing :)
As long as your enjoying it . Peace
I just crowd surfed on myself.

He sounds even better since he started using Super Bassman amps.
Love this band ❤❤😂😊❤❤
I love this band more every day, it seems. Punk forever.
11:16 this was a great album nice to hear it still. i was living in Long Beach when it came out and they promoted it nicely there around 1998

with the exception of Bloodclot, I would say I havent much either.
I miss this year so much. Being 2 weeks old was great.
Aqui no Brasil saiu um dvd pirata com esse show quando era muleke, nostalgia ver de novo.
Great sounds
They are on top fucking form right here, damn.
wow thank u
Absolutely superb, so talented
great band on live playing shows . good boys
Keyboardist is so into it and just gets set aside like a step child. All the photo shoots and anything representing the band. Keyboardist MIA!
Can't wear that shirt and show up on a Rancid promo poster, he is amazing though. Incredible energy.
I also love how Tim treats his guitar like a random, loose hanging necklace. No reverence for it at all.
They had to duct tape the strap on both ends because of how much he would jerk it around and spin. Especially in earlier days like 1995 and such
Dude that keyboard player is rocking out
Ronnie King, google him, you'll be surprised...

I love seeing the guy right in front of the camera get asked to move before Maxwell Murder started
True. If you understand german and you see his lips moving ypu can even see what he says. He was quite mad..haha
Great Rancid of the 90s!
Maxwell Murder!!! I first heard that song, playing Dave Mirra freestyle Bmx on Ps1

tim "i just wanna hold the guitar" armstrong
