Thanks Maleah for your kind and understanding message? unfortunately I have hay fever pretty bad at the moment ...... terribly sorry an occasional snuffle spoiled your viewing ...ill be sure to hold my breath in the next one! 🙄
I have the worst allergies this year. I’m constantly sniffing and coughing. This comment was filled with such hate. There’s enough hate going on in this beautiful world, this was so mean. Shame on you!
I'd rather read supportive comments to people that use their time to teach us techniques rather than negative bitchy ones. Maybe if you've got nothing constructive to say, you could go find a mirror and self reflect 😉
Hi Kathryn, I watched this tutorial again, and love it. I miss you so much, your style is awesome. I hope you are doing well and still creating beautiful things.
Kathryn - I love ALL of your videos and I have learnt so much from them....and I certainly miss you and your excellent turorials!! I really cannot believe that someone could leave such an awful comment - clearly this very sad person has a problem!
This was such an interesting video and I loved the outcome! So gorgeous! And snuffling? What? I was totally absorbed with the information you were so generously sharing! Loved it!
Ms. Halstead I just wanted to say thank you for sharing with us all your beautiful creations. I have no words to describe how much I appreciate the time you take to bring us so much joy with your ideas. You are one of a kind. Thank you!!!🥰
Kathryn you are always one step ahead of me! I’m so glad that you did this tutorial!! I love how you make the faux shell design. I actually have everything that I need for this, so I’ll be giving it a go. Thank you for sharing your talent! 💗
Kathryn I love your work! Unfortunately we have to live with unpleasant people, (about Maleah) but ignore her because there are many people who admire you (I include myself) and we appreciate the time it takes you to make and edit your videos. Thank you very much and I send you affectionate greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽 🇲🇽 🇲🇽
Gorgeous like all of your work. I was very surprised how the black worked out. I thought the mokume pieces looked very Smokey without color before baking but it was black, well defined and the colors came through brilliantly. Dang, you are so talented and know your mediums well. I think it’s so interesting how your design elements make your work so different from form to just changing the direction of a cord. That blank small square opposite the mokume gane was brilliant. Thank you for another great tutorial.
I just love this. It’s so difficult to get Cernit here in the states. I need to get me the opaline! I made an abalone with Premo Accent pearls and it turned out quite well. I also added interference to them and I actually got the shimmer. It was exciting. Thanks Katherine. I get so happy when I see a new video from you. You make my day.
Wow!! That's the most realistic faux abalone I've seen. You've captured the lovely colour tones and that beautiful shimmer in the shell perfectly. I did think it looked a bit on the blue side (maybe my screen??) before baking, but after baking, what a transformation. Spot on. Using those micas in translucent clay was a touch of genius. Gorgeous, and the pendants are stunning. Love watching you work .... and the occasional visits from your fur babies!! 😁😊🤗
yes i think i say in the video you have to trust the process as the mica looks so different until the trans cooks..... i did a couple of test chips first to check the strength x
Great tutorial thank you so much. If have just started using cernit and I’m loving it. Have some metallics but darent use them , they are so pretty and I want to do them justice haha. Again thank you xx
I have to say I’d rather hear your neighbors cutting their lawn... rather than your constant nose snuffling! The design was nice.
