A game of thrones in Saudi Arabia (Who will be the next king?)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 1 кві 2013
- As the fictional Game of Thrones launches its third season a different game of intrigue is unfolding in Saudi Arabia. In this report we take a look at the history of the Saudi dynasty and its key pillars. We ask important questions, who will be the third in line once King Abdullah passes away? As the second generation princes, who have ruled the country for most of its 80 year history, are now few in numbers, its likely that a third generation prince will enter the game of thrones. A critical evolution in the House of Saud. This new chance will further divide the ongoing divisions rivalries in the Saudi dynasty. It will also put uncertainty on a key pillar, unity among the leadership.

Good, as ever! Thnx from The Netherlands!
just found your channel very informative videos, I very much like
Excellent report as always. One tend to view a geopolitical situation in a short time frame, usually in a human lifespan of less than a century (+- 3 generations), that brings you some possible stability, but once you see it in a more historical context of hundreds of years then the big shifts will most likely occur, and as the Caspian Report pointed out we are approaching an important milestone for the Saudi Arabia...wait to see the big changes.
I love this upload❤❤❤
You're vary smart, I just stumbled on this channel. Keep it up man. Make vid about Syria and where you think its heading in few years.

The next king is soloman Ben abdullaziz
MBS. Lmao
@@mcc4730 the comment BEFORE 6 years 😂 and it's true Salman bin Abdulaziz is the king
You mean Borgias, right? If you're interested there is a trilogy film on the House of Saddam. Equally interesting and fairly accurate.
6 years ago you made this video... and you were right. GoT it has been....
This video, albeit still relevant for the basics of transition, needs sorely to be updated. The issue of plunging oil prices and the depletion of the Dynasty's Sovereign Wealth undoubtedly shall figure quite prominently in the next transition.
what is the name of background music 0:41
the only true king of Saud was
King Faisal
True muslim and in inspiration for all arabs

Hiwa Joe his views on palistine were amazing for a so called "stooge" of the US

Unlik his childrens who are straight bastards who sold the country to the USA and Israel
may allah remove them and their corruption
i dont think they are going to last another decade with their fasaad you have accusations of corruption all the way to their top leaders

what's really sad is that they are in control of two muslim holy Mosque
Lol the way no one saw MBS coming.
Admirable desenvolvimiento.
Due to challenges in "Change Management" they will need a very careful strategy to make this work correctly, but it is manageable.
2:55 That was so petty.😂

Yes,after faisal,
The eldest brother assumes leadership roles in many cultures. Interesting.
Saudi Arabia beautiful country that they know God well
They should make a Crusader Kings 2 Mod for this era
i dont support kingship but it is what it is. the islamic knowledge is still 100 percent intact and muslims are allowed to practice their religion no problem. i just find that a lot of outsiders have a lot of criticism when their own problems are even worse than whatever saudi arabia is facing.
King Faisal came Pakistan in 1972 to attend Lahore Summit. Mr Khalid, king of Saudi Arabia came in 1976, but we have to sacrifice the visit of Shah Iran, Reza Shah Pehlvi. Also we could not able to hold 1977 Asian games and those were held in Tehran, Iran.
I think its represents there family, Similiar in japanese culture, Where there first name represents its Clan. Or Italian where they always say there birthplace at the last to respresent the city, Like Leonardo da 'Vinci'.
do a video on the origins of wahabbism
Family factions would be there and it would be severe. But it would not have much bearing on the political process.
Administration is well advised and is being handled different from the political process.
The path they choose for administrative reforms would be the key for their future.
2:50 apparently, your Richard was
The education was that bad, huh? No story about the birds and the bees in the book?
Bin means "the son of" so for instance my name is Donald "bin" or the son of Tom "the father's name"
I think bin is the Arabic equivalent of Mc or Mac in Irish and Scottish surnames
Saudi must have 100's of princes . All the Kings had many children so , wow , a verrrry big royal family .
The Al-Saud family has 2000+ members
Vardeth805 WOW, so like 1 in every 1500 is a prince? =/

And his dad
This beats Games of Thrones!!
Do you have predictions for what role the rebel fighters of Syria and perhaps Afghanistan will play in the future of S.A.?
Well none of the named countries existed back then in the Arabian Peninsula. So it would be more accurate to refer them to as Bedouin Arabs (of whom the ancient Lakhmids were the most pan-Arabic minded.
How many sons are now left, from king abdul aziz?
Its like you saw the future
I would like to say that in the 1950s there was a television program in the USA and they interviewed a Saudi Royal. He specifically said that they know the oil will not last forever and their aim was to EDUCATE their people in engineering and science so as to make a good transition into the future. now we see all these years later that sitting around drinking tea and chit-chatting is what they do whilst paying foreigners to do the work, even whatever that work may be. just wave money at it.
God Save The King!
King faisal said That they would grow a look a like to be trained to rise as king Faisal body double once again
Exactly 2:56
someone should make this Saudi game of thrones, into a tv series. Similar to the shoe The Borgers
The dude from 3:08 of the video looks dissociated AF. The lights are on, but he's not home.
Ameen and give it a better leader that's fear of God and afraid of the hellfire. In shaa Allah.
I understand in some ways why change was required in the 'Saudi Empire' for the next ruler and hope you might could help me understand more... the message Im hearing is that because the 2nd generation is not as educated or is not high enough in numbers (in the flesh) that it was a wise move to call upon the 3rd generation. Does that mean that 2nd generation looses right to the throne? Who or what is going to be the deciding factor in who will earn the title of King. And does inviting democracy mean there will be a government and a King? Im just learning about your country, as it is very fascinating to me, so correct any misunderstanding, but gently please.
muhammad bin nayef , you got one name right , he will be the next king, and mohammad bin salman the heir, both are sudairi seven
I just say: "The Saudi Connection" ... by Robert Baer
اتوقع المعلق يحش فينا مو عاجبه الأوضاع في السعودية
Very good picture l'm bitter
You predicted it. Muhammad bin Nayef it was.
1- King Abdulaziz had 35 sons not 45.
2- i think it is not going to be an issue here in Saudi because because there is respect between the leaders and the people and we know the one that will come he will serve the people and the country for the best.
I share you thoughts that the religious establishment has too much power in the Kingdom. However the Saudi dynasty has always been intermingled with the Wahhabi movement. In fact the Wahhabi family merged with the Saudi family, through marriages, and now the Saudis are the legitimate body of Wahhabism.
Good luck king
let us hope there will be no bloodshed in the holy land we people of the middle east are notorious for dynasties which rely heavily on strong personalities not institutions and that is our achilles heel again may the almighty god preserve peace in the holylands
the next crown price now is Salman, and after him is Muqrin
both 2nd gen

No more king, the next ruler will be a caliph. In shaa Allah.
I support whatever Arabian King who's like Stannis
The Messenger of Allaah salla'llaahu-'alayhi-wa-sallam said:
There will be a dispute following the death of a vicegerent, and a man from (the Messenger's clan of) Banu-Haashim will flee from Al-Madiina to Makkah (fearing that people will try to make him the next ruler). (Recognising him as the Imaam al-Mahdii) some of the people of Makkah will come to him and will bring him out against his will, and they will make Bay'a (pledge of allegiance) to him...
HEY BROTHER DO U SMOKE GRASS
@tyrone.does your mom?
Yep & he needs to come soon inshallah
we dont have game of thrones in saudi arabia
24 june 2017 now we know who the new king of saudi arabia , prince Mohammad bin Salman.
If there were a war between Iran and Israel (which is seemingly possible), which countrie would support Saudi Arabia ?
You probably know that there is a divide between Sunnia and Schi'a. How far would go this division ?
What about that really rich guy, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal? Do you think he has a chance to be the next king?
GLORY TO SAUDI ARABIA GREATEST COUNTRY MAKE US PROUD
the only question is...where or rather, who is the Midget Prince
The most inglorious dynasty in the human world. It depends on looting, killing and cheating. Reading the barbarous deeds by the founder, Abdelaziz, makes one numb. The people like to play knives will die of them. So does the monarchy.
Yeah like you guys didn't kill indians and you didn't committed salivary until only 40 years ago
+Gamer D55 slavery was outlawed but segregation still existed 50 years ago
+PROGAMER Saudi Arabia didn't ban Slavery until 1962. The Shia, women, gay people and South Asian workers r the indians and black people of Saudi Arabia.
and King Abdulla gone,Here came King Salnan
i think he meant bobs burgers, the animated show on fox :p
king faisal one of good in all of saudis..........
From where the words 'King' and 'Prince' had been derived? How much money/wealth a Head of Government can legally enjoy and his 'Dos' and' Do no's are well defined in a good Government system. In monarchism, anarchism today or tomorrow is likely. This may well tackled by amiable discussion and introducing democratic practices in all spheres of life.
How can a family and its close allies within a clan system own a whole Country? The historical facts about how Saud's Arabia came into being are well documented and there is therefore no need to go back to the issue. One thing is for sure and that is Saudi Arabia will face the same fate that other Arab States are currently facing in the Middle East.Democracy, not necessarily,Westminster model, must as a fact be introduced and this may only become possible with the third generation princes who are better educated and understand how Governments work around the world.Since it was founded, Saudi Arabia has been ruled by a Monarchy system that has no place in Islam and the world as it is today and as it will be in future.
salam my family
Why do they all have 'Bin' in their names?
#CaspianReport tell us who will be the next king ? :(_
