You are revealing an extremely sensitive part of your artistic soul. The image and sound are skillfully combined to create a captivating whole, not leaving the viewer indifferent during the screening. Such images make us realize how beautiful the world is and why it is worth being an artist. Thank you.
You really show what the lens is capable of. But I don't think everyone who puts this lens on their camera will automatically get pictures as great as this!
Thank you. All modern cameras can get a really great image. A lot of this I think is light. This was a particularly nice late afternoon. Other than this it was a very minimalist colour grade. The way I like it ;)
@@LiveMyJourneyTom Your color grades is top notch! When I got my BMCC FF I tended to overdo the color grade because I was used to my Sony footage which needed a bit more work on the colors.
I’m currently using both the BM and Sony but I’m yet to match the footage. The plan is to have Sony with 70-180 f2.8 as a companion to BM with this 28-105. I actually quite like working with Sony colours. Or at least used to before I was spoiled with all the Blackmagic goodness
Thanks. Over all I prefer the Sigma but not by a huge margin. The 35-150 f2-2.8 is great but the size and weight can be problematic. The 35-150 f2.8-4 is also a great lens in my opinion but with some design compromises like the undampened mechanical focus and focus breathing. Sigma is a real workhorse in design but also it has no weaknesses. Zero breathing, great smooth bokeh from the 12 bladed aperture, good close focusing abilities. But ultimately it could boil down to what focal range suits you the best. All three lenses are very good in terms of produced image.
Have you used the new version of the Sigma 24-70? I heard this lens has better image quality with fewer chromatic aberrations and distortions. I am considering between those two.
From other reviews I’ve understand that optically the 28-105 is even better than 24-70 mk2 but I haven’t personally used one. I have used the mk1 a while back and I own 28-70 f2.8 from sigma for my Sony as well. Tbh they are all equally good to my eye. 28-105 may have an upper hand in bokeh due to a 12 blade aperture but what is a definite win for me is the focal range to weight ratio. Coming from a sigma 24-105 f4 that with an adepter weighs even more, or from a tamron 35-150 f2-2.8 this is perfect balance of light gathering, focal range and weight. I’m currently using this for my travel setup. I know it’s probably overkill but why not;)

Beautiful
Thank you !
Fajnie to wszystko wygląda 👊
Dzięki!
Great Job. I saw you also have the Tamron 35-150. Comparing it with this sigma 28-105, which one did you like more? Many thanks

Did this lens just come out?
I think official release was on 26 of September.
