*Note: You must have headphones plugged in to see External Headphones in the list, or if you don't have headphones choose MacBook Speakers (see **5:44**). If you don't see the audio icon at the top (🔊 or 🎧), click the icon that looks like two toggle switches, then click Sound.*
*Multiple people have asked about mixing a mic into the recording-for that, you may want to check out OBS Studio instead of Quicktime, so you can mix the audio levels together easier.*

Why did I buy a Mac mini. Worst purchase from an it admin person. Simple things just simple things you have to search about it
Is it possible to do the same thing you showed around 5 min mark (headphones for recording) using an iPad? Please, if so, show me how! TIA
I am confused. So for the "Headphones (For Recording)" audio device I am creating, what if I don't have headphones plugged in. Do I also make sure "MacBook Pro Speakers" are checked? Or is it one or the other?
@@kodepot7521 You can follow the exact steps as using headphones but with any other device, such as MacBook Pro Speakers. So the Multi-Output Device would be called "Speakers (For Recording)" with MacBook Pro Speakers checked first, then BlackHole 2ch checked second. See 5:45 in the video, I covered this briefly. Hope that helps.
I usually do not comment on anything but YOU just saved me. I was thinking and clicking on stuff for days because I wanted to record something inside a game withou hearing me clicking and rustling. It finally worked. THANK YOU!
Can I just say, I watched about 12 other videos and jumped through plenty of hoops. Your video explained everything perfectly, thank you sir.

This the best and updated tutorial about the screen recording process using QuickTime into new Mac OS Ventura. Thank you. One question: how do you zoom your screen video into the recording process?, is there any shortcut to do that using KeyNote ?
Super helpful thanks. Also the bonuses are both 🔥🙏

Thanks for the helpful video! How did you screen record this video showing your camera in the circle bottom right?
thanks for making this man !! cheers
Thank you so much. I used to record on my iPad so I didn't realize that I couldn't record on a Macbook with input audio. I recorded so much yesterday but when I started editing there was no sound. I tried an app called Record it from the App Store. They do give the option to record with audio (extra 1.1Mb software installation) but you gotta pay to record for more than 5 mins at a time. Thanks again
thank you for this👍🏾
really I wanted video. thank you so much
I tried the steps multiple times with headphones and speakers and even an audio interface and could not get it to work. Hopefully you can post another method because that would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much ! You saved me. I wonder, is it possible to also add our microphone to be heard in the recording as well with the internal computer audio ?
So well done ! Thank you.
You're the man, thank you!
Such a good content thank you so much
It works!!! Thank you so much!! :)

THANK YOU SO MUCH
Very informative learning this to make editing easier without recording on my phone🙌
I have a problem I can't hear the audio from my earphones
Thank you for the video! My mac did not have the "HEADPHONES" check box. Is there a video that explains how to get it?
What I did is select the internal speakers for the multimedia one and worked for me even with headphones connected 👍🏼
mine either :C
Uh, I just did. I connected my wireless headphones to the computer and followed all the steps. It worked
You can follow the exact steps as using headphones but with any other device, such as MacBook Pro Speakers. So the Multi-Output Device would be called "Speakers (For Recording)" with MacBook Pro Speakers checked first, then BlackHole 2ch checked second. See 5:45 in the video, I covered this briefly for people without headphones. Hope that helps!
Thank you so much!
