    you should a camping ep where you camp somewhere pretty and show what fast food you can easily make while camping. there is a cute anime about camping called yuru camp and the 3rd season is releasing soon so maybe you could collaborate with them?

    Taiyaki without anko/azuki?? HERESY I love that stuff, it's a lot like sweetened mashed chestnuts made in France

    The only special parking area story I can remember is going to the one at "Obasute" in Nagano. My mom was offended by the name of the place and for some reason that just made me laugh harder.

    That giant udon noodle cube is uhh... well with that shape looks machine made and at that size i don't think it cooks very well nor does it absorb sauce very well.
    Only had eel once, menu said it was grilled but came out cold and uncooked and ick...😢
    I also love the notes you editor adds in.

    Unagi has become expensive bc eel itself has become more rare & expensive, especially if it's wild-caught from Japan vs farm-raised elsewhere.

      @tdolan500 2 місяці тому +3

      There’s a huge abundance of Eel where I’m from in Northern Ireland and no one eats it. The little bit that is caught goes to London to be used in jellied eel.
      I should start exporting it to Japan!

    • @JunkFoodJapan
      @JunkFoodJapan  2 місяці тому +2

    HAH it’s nice to see a video where you don’t enjoy the food as much 😂 I feel like Japan gets so much credit for all the amazing food there (I’ve been, can’t lie the food is great) but it’s refreshing to see some wacky food items that might not be so great 😂
