Thanks! It definitely helps keep the floor clean and I don’t have to worry about anything soaking into the concrete. All of the shop floor is coated with a 2 part commercial based epoxy from Sherwin Williams.
When I build my shop I’m definitely putting epoxy on my floors.
What do you plan on using your shop for? I definitely love my epoxy. It makes spills and such so much easier to clean up. You also saw how clean the floors are when you scrub them. If you drop heavy objects on them you can definitely chip it. I also wouldn’t recommend it for a full blown fan shop. Lots of hot sparks from torches and plasma cutter can melt it.
After scorching old epoxy layer, and before applying new layer of epoxy paint, shouldn’t you use primer first?
This epoxy does not need a primer, especially because it was scored roughly and then thoroughly cleaned with solvent. It has adhered well and hasn’t lifted anywhere.
The mapp gas torch at the end is surely a bad idea in a room full of flammable chemical.

I have multiple sizes of the floor sweeper attachments. I think that one is dustright brand and was purchased from rockler. Any attachment like this will work as long as it fits your hose.
