Awesome work bro! love your content! hey maybe you can help me, Im swapin a 24v BDE into a mk4 golf, and trying to start it but when Im about to before I do it I notice there is a continuos electric sound like a long beeep buzzing coming from the trhottle body... any idea what it is?
Nice job beefing up the pedal cluster which is such a known weak point. You should install a 3/8" 'Elevator Bolt' or similar clutch stop. Its a couple dollar mod that will cut down on your time in between shifts, adjusting it perfectly so the engagement point is exact everytime, with no wasted pedal travel. It's one more factor preventing wasting precious time in between gears. Probably one of the most overlooked/ basic mods, period.
Ill look into it, but eventually i plan to do dog box in a year hopefully. May just leave it as for now, I’ve already had a bunch of issues setting up the clutch. Mismatched parts and bad new parts.
@jameshalford4699 yea thats what i did all vw are this way But requires specific clutch hose usually blue and expensive like 20-30$ for 12” of it Do not use any other hose or it will deteriorate and kill your master/slave down the road and hose eventually will rupture
@nicholaswhitworth5712 always look over seas ebay as well. Uk de ect ive gotten a few from poland for less than people ask in facebook groups. At least you got it sorted though and can rip it.
Great job man! Can’t wait to see this thing Rip!

What you doing with the fluid part
Feed from res to master is oem clutch line
Master to slave is an line kit lots of places sell
Check for 02a braided clutch line
@SmithsEuro i was going to try and put the fluid feed hose onto the original brake res to save adding another res pot

You got any videos or pics of you tapping into the brake res please and im using a braided brake hose
@jameshalford4699 all vw resevoirs have nipples on them
Cut the tip off then put the hose on
Haha I’ve got better luck winning the lotto than finding worth VW parts in the junkyard!
We have a few pick and pulls around here, but as of late its getting real scarce.
@@SmithsEuro I looked for-ev-er for a clutch pedal and subframe parts for my VR6 swap. I just went aftermarket unfortunately
