was debating on purchasing keyscape, i’ve loved and been a omnisphere owner for a while now, this added feature has convinced me to purchase keyscape tomorrow!

Agreed. I have this frequent, reoccurring thought that I wouldn't be where I am without Spectrasonics. Omni, especially, is my go-to solution and is featured in just about every project I work on.
I guess you have never used Ableton. Way better implementation of this. In Ableton it's all retrospective, so no pressing of buttons to capture your ideas. Seriously I'm almost thinking you got paid to make this comment. In the daw I can immediately switch between pianos/instruments with 3rd party FX VSTs which you can't do in Omnisphere. So don't knock the DAW for idea sketching Persig. You need to make this feature retrospective.

I remember his early synth, Crystal. That was way ahead then.
Crystal was the creation of Glenn Olander…who was also the incredible software architect of Omnisphere for Spectrasonics!

Cubase has an automatic flow capture always on from the start till the end of your session! It monitors all midi Inputs and records it live, if you had a great idea but not recorded yet? No problem, its always recording, you just recall your idea, if you had one and analyze what you did! Thats important, no need to decide if you want to record anything now BEFORE you start playing! This make a long music day capture your spontanous ideas constantly! Thats one of the greatest ideas they had at steinberg! So your idea is also very useful. Thx for THIS! NEVER LOOSE A GREAT IDEA! 🤟😁👍
I like Pianoteq's function too, it's basically non-stop recording of any Midi notes played, ready to be saved anytime.

Omnisphere and Trilian were the dream synths that I could never afford and I lusted after them for years. I now finally have them and I have never been so happy to be part of the Spectrasonics family. The fact that they still support Stylus RMX after all these years is mind boggling to me, I used to mess around with that so long ago.
I am an Audiophile and not even creating any music just yet. Believe it or not - I have bought Omnisphere 2 for how amazing it is and the whole team behind it, to support the further development and for sure one day to really have some fun with it as well.
Spectrasonics team, Eric - you guys are awesome. Keep doing what you doing and keep spreading love around with these wonderful musical instruments that you are creating.

We hope you continue to inspire us for decades to come. I’ve grown so much with this instrument as a musician. You were on virtually every song on my 1st and 2nd album! I still have so far to go I’ve barely scratched the surface of what this thing can do because the presets are so good!
And now I finally have an M1 Mac, it’s gonna get crazy with virtually no limits in my canvas anymore! In time my old Mac server was so slow and yet, it still did a good job in the studio, but now in 2022 with an Apple M1 ?? Now this instrument is on steroids and will now truly come to life and become the best It can be. And now with the new tool? Man, I’ll definitely be using the product more!

That really is pretty bloody incredible. I couldn't count the number of times that I've been programming (or even cataloging) sounds and have come up with great little snatches using those sounds. I've had to dive for the DAW and, as stated in the vid, have usually forgotten the idea before I got there.

A feature i use everyday in my DAW is one that once pressed, places into the piano roll everything you played in the last 2 min, 5 min, 10 min and so on. It is so useful because sometimes by not pressing record you take alot of pressure of yourself and can just improv and later recollect the pressed notes. This feature is kind of a useful variarion of that(although you have to press "record") and even better in some cases.
Thank you very much for bringing this feature and offering it for free. I cannot wait for Omnisphere 3!

I know the term 'genius' gets thrown around a lot these days but Eric is and has been a genius for decades. For anything synth/EP related, just buy all their stuff and love your life.
That piano has a beautiful tone.
I started with a pirated copy of Omnisphere years ago because I couldn’t justify the hefty price tag for a software synth. After using it for a couple months I realized how insanely powerful and in depth it was and purchased a license. I’ve never been more impressed with a plug-in in my life.
It’s already been stated so many times, but man, Spectrasonics, you guys make for an awesome company. The upgrade cycle on your products is just unreal - I got so much joy and also time out of Omnisphere that by the time v2 eventually came out I was happy to upgrade so I could support the company just as much as I was excited for the upgrade. Free updates that do more than bugs, but add features. Thank you guys so much for what you do, and especially how you do it!
I like Spectrasonics products and Eric’s sounds since the 80s. Eric and his company is one of the stable and reliable factors in my world. In this new video, for me the most impressive point is Eric’s good mood, that he shows presenting his new baby. Eric, I like very much the happy sun, that shines through your eyes, when you speak about the new feature. I can see, how happy you are yourself, about what you have developed. So thanks for being always positive, that is something, we need these days more than ever. And thanks four the beautiful peace of piano playing in the beginning.

I’ve been seeing all the piano vsts out there And after weeks of research I still come back to keyscape. Personally I have reach the conclusion that I this is the best piano vst for my music.

A little dream: it would be fantastic that in the future this ability to record the various parts could be available as a basic multitrack digital recorder (erase, repeat, overlap) perhaps even in sync between your fantastic products to then be able to take and transport the various parts within Cubase , Pro Tools or other always remaining in a creative workflow as initially imagined by you. It often is how i use omnisphere !!! as a standalone ... before i even open my DAW so, this new FLOW CAPTURE might not be a revolution by itself but really changes the way i'll use my DAW & specially Omnisphere. Thanks for implementing this !!

That’s a great idea piano tech has been doing that for a while. I have a Midi9 Yamaha Conservatory ground and the software on my laptop the second I touch my grand piano and start playing it’s recording. Keep up the great work guys are doing wonderful thank you

Cubase has Restrospective recording built it, does exactly this, but has just the MIDI data.
