This is awesome, I plan on being a Ghostface main but, I do plan on using these character breakdowns eventually to learn how to fight against certain characters and I’m definitely looking forward to more of these so that way since Ghostface is going to be my main character, that way I can learn to fight against the rest of the roster using your character breakdowns

When I finally decided to learn the game I decided to main ermac and he's not easy to learn for sure. Very enjoyable though with how much freedom his movement offers and he's got solid damage with janet and scorpion, might have to relearn him as a second main to kenshi

@@thomasbruzzese6419 go lab ermac and tell me how long it takes to get 10 consecutive 12bf3,ffj122; 10 consecutive f2 cancel into f4db22 and be able to "freestyle" long cancel pressure, it's all a matter of consistency and it takes time to build it
I’ve been saying this for so long bro. Ermac is secretly Nuts, he’s literally a slightly worse version of Rain, Safe Jump off Of a Throw Kombo, Safe Jump if he Shimmies you, 53% in the corner, a Insanely good and underrated Mid, that pulls you in, and has large hitbox, unbelievable Comeback Factor, with Glow, Or Without It. Even without Glow, his comebacks are stupid, because it’s one throw Kombo, or Shimmey, into safe jump, into armor breaking Setup, then they eat the EX Low and die
reason nobody plays ermac is clearly because people dont wanna have carpal tunnel after a month of playing ermac. I like the character design but the constant cancels you kinda have to do, nah thanks im good. They are not that hard, you can learn it in an hour pretty much.

Every time I fight a Ermac player I don’t know what to do about the insane cancels.
u just gotta guess when he’s gonna cancel and either stand up and hit him before he hits you, armor through it, or poke him out of it

18:20 janet is my least favorite thing about playing ermac because of how much i be spamming my kameo button, and she still not be doing 3
I used to struggle as well but once u get the hang of it it's really easy and consistent. Just don't let go the forward/back button before the third hit comes out and try find the timing
I was looking for this comment. I use Janet and I press her button 3 times only. If you press R1 twice consecutively, she'll automatically do two jumps. On the second jump, press R1 as the second punch hits the character and that'll make the 3rd jump come out. Basically press R1 on hit during her second jump. I don't press R1 more than 3 times for 3 jumps. 18:21
The problem is you has hit so so many times to make any damage, Cage and Geraz can hit you 3 times and half the bar is gone, hermac you just has to hit so so many times
NRS servers make Ermac misinput like crazy on the cancels

Great proyectiles, that EX Dragon, come one, antizoning proyectil.
Broken output damage.
And... hyper easy to use.
Liu Kang is a control, crazy broken char.

Ex bf3 isnt real off of b24 or any other button or string. Even though its plus off of the cancel you can always d1 out of it. Its bunz

@@zlee5159 b24 on block, cancel. Heres the mindgame: you go for pressure or you backdash b24 again to beat poke and/or look for a confirm. Theres no reason to do b24~EXbf3 when you can go for pressure meterless anyways. Also EXbf3 only jails into d1 so you just spent meter for more fake pressure.
You punish pokes, they no longer poke, you go in for pressure after conditioning. If you condition, spend meter on bf3 and they block it, you wouldve been much better off just using that conditioning to throw them for 20% into safejump
I got elder god with him last 3 seasons fairly easy, people love to mash and he baits pokes like a god

Scorpion, that’s who I run with my Ermac, good damage off of any touch and you don’t have to be super crazy with the cancels, just hit confirm into the soul grab,bf2, and continue with scorpion, every time on any touch
So here are my suggestions.
Lao is great for hard to blockables and for Zoning and counter zoning
Sonya is great for onion ring setups and 50/50s
Frost is great for Orb loops and having access to the corner at any time
Sareena is your best vs Havik and Kenshi for her zoning and constant meterdrain
Mavado does a lil bit less than what Janet does but you have a better time vs zoners
Love him so much but he’s way too hard to play

Most strings minus 7 so Liu kills this
Liu actually has a hard time vs Ermac. Your only -7 is S123 which you can live without by not doing it and S21 is cancelable so they're not punishing that.
Liu can zone out Ermac/Janet but he has a hard time vs Ermac/Lao or Sareena for the Zoning war and the range Ermac has on his normals really destroys Liu and even when he's winning the Zoning war, Ermac can pop a Death Embrace and boom he has the life lead
