Ashington Turbine Fire

One of the wind turbines near the Ashington Community Woodland had been on fire . So , I decided to fly around it and inspect the damage. A fair bit of damage to the electrics . The Gimbal on the XK still needs adjusting and the props need balancing causing some vibration on the drone. The Firefly6 takes nice footage though.

Will be interesting to see what happens to this. They were supposedly going to sort it after the harvest 2018. Still nothing done to it.

I dont know how they'll do it . It will be unsafe for anyone to climb up and dismantle parts , undo the bolts holding things together etc. The structure will be weakened and may just collapse. I would'nt mind being there to film it being dismantled however they manage it.
