My name is Alec Steele and I am a 20 year old blacksmith from Norfolk in the United Kingdom. I upload a vlog from my day at the workshop almost every single day. Lots of sparks, lots of making, lots of fantastic-ness. Great to have you here following along!
What do I make? LOTS of Damascus steel, knives, swords, axes and more and of course, I always love hearing your suggestions for future projects in the comments below!

Alec Steele Blacksmith 2017
I’m going to be upset once I finally watch all of your videos and have to actually wait for your uploads. I’ve just been binge watching after work for two weeks now...
There's no way Alec can be faking any of this excitement, or playing it up, just look at how he dances around when he talks about something, or does anything really. You can't fake that genuine happiness and excitement :D
I'm no blacksmith by any means but your channel is extremely entertaining to watch as a pianist :p
I try to watch every video you upload every day. Alec has literally become my favorite UA-camr out there. His excitement over blacksmithing is genuine as can be. I have wanted to make knives for a long while and his channel has motivated me to finally start this year to do so.
I just realized Alec could give Broken Hardy a run for his money in crazy laughter. And I mean that as a complement.
My favourite youtube blacksmith making my alltime favourite type of sword, I can't tell you how happy this makes me Alec, thank you.
I’m going to be perfectly honest, I don’t usually prefer I don’t usually prefer the super long projects, but I am very excited for this one!
On your next video can you say “It’s a great day to be a Ranger!” ? That’s my school motto and that would be so cool, I say it when I go into every class and it’s enthusiasm is infectious :)
I'm not sure what defines the better your signature Alec: "ladies and dgentlemen", the hammer juggling or your overexcitment for every cool things you are doing!
Today on Alec Steele, we turn W's into M's
“Boy lemme tell ya what” great. Now I’ve got The Devil Went Down to Georgia stuck in my head. Thanks Alec.
What an entrance!
This is pretty much the only channel that doesn't feel tiring to watch daily. These videos are a dessert after a hard day.
I build scale models. It is my thing. I can imagine Alec's excitement when he finally worked and saved to get this awesome equipment. Much like when I was able to get my first airbrush and compressor. It opens up a whole new level of craft. Very enjoyable vids young man.
I have to say Jamie's editing really does add a lot of depth to theses videos, he is honing his skills.
Making damascus is already an art by itself. You step up about 8 notches to make it so much more
Jamie killing it again on the editing. Love the intro!
Tbh I love how we can just see the gears spinning in Alecs head when he's thinking and he's show the full process and how to do some stuff so it's honestly the best blacksmith chanson out there
Buzzing for this!
I'm a graphic designer and I don't know why I'm terribly addicted to this channel! Alec congrats for the great content!
