    I bought a 7.92 M38 from the defunct Springfield Sporters for $50 back in the day. Shot Turkish 8mm all day through it, knowing it was risky. No issues. It wasn’t pretty, but it was so cool. Totally regret selling it.

      I know that there are a lot of people that shoot them, with full strength ammo, but when making a video I cannot say with absolute certainty that shooting full powdered ammo is safe it would put me into a liability situation

      TheKoba49 totally agree. Besides, casting and reloading your own is so much better. Hearing your description of the molds of the possible variations in the projectiles (etc) is what made me miss the damn thing! Lol

    Hey koba I bought a couple of carcano's from psa and one is a mystery to me. It is rough but matching and the Maker's Mark says MBT and it's 1930 dated and appears to be a 91/28. I can't find anything on this maker other than some experimental guns. Thought maybe you could help, thanks

    Does it only hold one round at a time?

      I have this same rifle. It is converted to a bigger caliber and I haven't found a clip that holds 8mm mauser rounds. So the answer to your question is, unless you can find a clip that can hold 8mm rounds than yes it is 1 shot.

      @@Adam-om9hu Oh. You likely don't wanna shoot that too much. You have a Cacano that's been rechambered for 8mm Mauser, heard the barrel might explode from its power.

    I have a carcano that I bought it for 50€ it doesn't have fire pin its SMOOTH BORED and it has a bead sight on the front know i don't know if the barrel is from another gun but there is a bad weld underneath that connects the barrel with the receiver if anyone knows what kind of boogaloo thing is please tell me

      I bet its a drill rifle converted from an 8mm version using a barrel without rifling. After WW2, a lot of them were sent to Egypt to serve as training and drill rifles.

      @@shockwave6213 the gun came from Albania i bought it because it cost 50€ and I wanted something for the wall.
      I didn't mention that it has a sporter stock and the cereal numbers are HK784 from the left side of the barrel and on the other side says 1941.
      Anyway I think that I bought a very ugly gun that someone thought that he or she was a gunsmith.

    Do you have your own receipe for the 8mm you were shooting? Im into reloading and have 8mm reloading compnents and nobody has any receipe for a low recoil 8mm

    Just shot my M91 TS this weekend. Someone made a comment that I wasn’t supposed to single load rounds into them without the clips which I did on several occasions because it would hurt the extractor. Have you heard of this?

    • @TheKoba49
      @TheKoba49  4 роки тому +2

      it may do damage to the extractor, I strongly suggest buying the single shot magazine block it will help in feeding the rounds correctly with out a clip

    Is it in 8mm Mauser or 7.35x51 Carcano? Because shooting the Carcano in 8mm Mauser is a pretty bad ideas... Known to explode it said.

      Converted to 8mm.
      And safe to shoot. Otherwise the Germans & later Italians would not have converted them.
