Yeah, one last run before MH Rise drops. I had completely forgotten to rematch Ruiner after Fatalis gear with Gunlance, and my last run being with SAFI gear of all things wasn't gonna fly.
I've explained the setup previously, but since you're using more of the Wyrmstake Cannon in this setup, the first leg trip is crucial. You need to get the spike break, with the Wyrmstake Cannon, and not immediately, since you need time to reposition to get the mine in the head, AND have enough time to tenderise. It's a lot to go through.
Anyways, enjoy. I plan on making as much content as possible when MHR comes out, and I hope you'll join me for that.

What a clean run with the GL, Cera! Anyway, can you upload more Frontier clips? Particularly the EX individual/Musou hunts (i.e. Mysterious Mi Ru and the likes).

How do you do that hit in the air after grappling??!!
Ooooh that’s a fun strat. If you clutch onto the monster and you are LOWER than it, your base position registers as being higher than where you’re due to land after letting go, so if you spam R2 you can do an unsheathe attack!
Works very nice on a sloped area like this one, hope that makes sense!

Got any tips for speedrunning this with gunlance
The arm can be broken from the start of the fight to get a guaranteed trip, you want to pay attention to which arm goes up when he roars as that’s the side he’ll slam down on, running earplugs 5 is a great idea and don’t forget to hit your wyrmstake into the face and pack all your damage skills (:
Where does he get his earplug 5 from ? i've seen only 1 earplug deco on his set am i blind ?
