I saw this and damn, this is a perfect LS run, no damage except for the chips, all counter moves executed flawlessly, perhaps the only mistake was the iai slash at 1:21 which could have hit, but that is honestly negligible. You are pretty good!
I thought nergigante was scary at first, but after playing with LS for 200 hours before finally fighting him at MR100, it wasn't that scary. I even asked "why was i even scared of it?"

Heyho, started to play LS and im wondering pretty much about the fast build up at 0:19 because i never saw this combo before and cant find it anywhere, did it get patched? So far i have to press the same button for the full combo to get into the next color, u just do 4 fast hits and u are in the next one. O.o
overhead attack into fade slash, then foresight when monster roars or before it hits you, then roundslash after the foresight attack hit. you can practice this in the training grounds using the barrel bomb to time your foresight counters
how the hell do you use this weapon this flawlessly... Just switched to it after using the Insect Glaive literally right as I reach the quest which asks me to slay Nergigante. After 2 attempts still haven't been able to kill him with the long sword, should I keep learning it or just give up atp. ;-;
Insect glaive gives you too much freedom. Some attacks you can simply ignore by jumping away. Long sword, while being called "weeb weapon" and while being used by 30% of players, is a very difficult weapon to master. I'd say you'd be able to deal a ton more damage with SnS than ls. LS requires practice, patience and commitment. Don't like it too much personally, but had a 300 hours experience with LS. With other weapons you can do some bs and win. With LS if you are not staying in the center of battle whole time - you are losing way more than other weapons
@@LaserTractor I believe so too, I still mainly use the IG but lately I've been hunting with the SnS! I love being able to move around alot and I felt like the long sword was too much "high risk high reward" trying to learn it 😭 atleast in my opinion.
Feels like watching anime lol, the moves are just to smooth as a mhw player I know this takes hundreds if not thousands of hour just to master the katana itself. Amazing!!🎉🎉

The Helmbreaker at 2:43 and the Iai Spirit Slash at 2:50 were intense. That helmbreaker looked as if it just barely connected. As for the ISS, I wonder just how close you were to leaving the sheathed stance from that long wait.

Im sorry if that sounds harsh, but if you struggle against Ruiner Nergigante whos arguably the easiest Elder Dragon in the game if not the whole series then you have a LOT of work ahead of you.

TA means time attack, this is just rules mh community come up with basically you and your weapon, no wallbang no heroics no mantles and no ballistae and cannon
You made this monster look weak. Meanwhile, regular Nergigante can have 5 player and no horns or tails are broken. I had to start a locked game just to get my last tail carve for the set. Because players kepts coming into my game to spam whether I used SOS or not.

no it does not, you can only level up spirit gauge level by final round slash or foresight slash
@@pemalazOnly roundhouse. Foresight only fills your meter but to gain a level you need to hit with roundhouse after foresight.

the timing is not really that hard to do the only problem is you can only do it to small scale, too big you'll get pin
