I thought I should mention that doubling season does actually affect planeswalkers in the way you said it did not. I watched a video that a tournament judge put up and he said that doubling season causes planeswalkers to enter with double their printed amount of loyalty tokens, and it also doubles the amount they get from +X abilities.
Can you link the video please? I believe that is incorrect as activating a Planeswalker ability is considered a cost not an effect but I'd love to see it.
A friend of mine built a budget version and man I could see it's potential right away. What I don't like is how quick you become the target and how quickly you can be targeted out of the game. My way around Kaalia is constantly removing her. If I remove her 3 times or more I'm running away with the game. I might try to do a moxfield version and maybe make a video of it.
Hey Nelsike! Nice deck you got there! Funnily enough, I am using the same KHM Deckbox as you are for my Atraxa ^^ If your main concern is ulting your planeswalkers, I can recommend using Neoform (and/or Eldritch Evolution). Since you are protecting your Atraxa a lot in your list, you can cash her in for a Deepglow Skate and double your counters for just two mana :) It's a tech I came up with and I have not seen it in any other Atraxa Superfriends lists yet :) Also, it interacts nicely with Arena Rector where you cash her in, search for a planeswalker and double it right away for only 6 mana. Obviously, Deepglow can get stranded in you hand then, that's why I play Brainstorm/Aminatou/etc. and Fetches for unbricking. If you want some more thought I can gladly provide them (I have lots to say about my list xD) :)) Have a good day!
You won't believe this but I bought an Eldritch Evolution last night!!!! This is awesome!! I'm gonna give it a try right away thank you! I have another problem now you might be able to help me with...a win con haha
@@nelsikegaming Good to hear that and glad to help fellow Superfriends enjoyers! Pod effects work wonders in Superfriends :) Regarding wincons: - Teferi, Temporal Archmage + The Chain Veil. This can give to infinite Mana if you untap more than 4 mana within the 4 permanents. From there, you can either make it up as you play or play something like Shalai, Voice of Plenty. She represents valuable protection for you, your creatures, and your planeswalkers and can pump your creatures indefinitely with infinite mana. While you have this combo set up and also have Ugin the Spirit Dragon for example, you can ping your opponents indefinitely with his +2. - Kaya the Inexorable Emblem + Karn's Temporal Sundering. You don't have these in the deck, I would highly recommend at least Kaya though. This combo (ignoring deck size) provides infinite turns and that many permanent bounces. Since Extra-Turn spells work nicely with planeswalkers, adding Karn's Temporal Sundering usually doesn't hurt the deck too much either. - Ajani, Sleeper Agent Emblem. His emblem can win you the game if you get enough creature/planeswalker casts off. I almost never go for his emblem prior to having Tamiyo, Field Researcher's emblem though as it puts a HUGE target on your back (without adding possible protections like Field Researcher does) and you want to end the game as quickly as you can after getting it. But given that 5 creature/planeswalker spells end one player (not counting Vorinclex or eventual Proliferates), you can end your opponents in order from most terrifying to least terrifying. - Tamiyo, Field Researcher Emblem + Tamiyo, Moon Sage Emblem. (Tamiyo Double Trouble) If you get both of these out, you can oftentimes go for game no matter the situation if you know your deck. But with your spells being free and coming back to your hand when you play them you can easily find other wincons by looping spells over and over again. Although it might sound ambitious to have two emblems out, Field Researcher's emblem is so powerful that it might get you there already. Adding to my point in the previous section, I go for Field Researcher's emblem first as often as I can. - Vraska, Relic Seeker. I personally don't have this in the deck (anymore), but her Ultimate can at least end one person if you find the one remaining damage. Pretty much the same thing applies to the new Vraska coming in ONE. These are just some considerations. The most impactful one is Tamiyo Double Trouble and I have built my deck so that I have the best chance possible to get to these two emblems. It's very different from yours (~15 cards difference not counting lands I would guess), but I think this heavily depends on your meta and preferences :) Commander is a format where you can build your deck to your own preference so I really don't want to talk you into something here! If you want more tips regarding the overall play patterns and philosophy of my deck though I think I can write another novel into the comment section xD

Great video! In the process of making this exact deck! Thank you for the inspiration lol. Side note, where the hell did you get that sick ass deck box?!? I need to know.
Hi Jackson! Glad you liked it! I recently foiled this entire deck out it looks amazing! It plays really well too, it's one of my top 3 favorites for sure. A deck I will never take apart. The deck box I picked up from an LGS 2 years ago. It was just sitting there on the shelf I was surprised no one had picked it up. Paid $25 for it. Immediately threw Atraxa and her friends in it 😂
@@nelsikegaming Thats awesome man. Just completed this deck today and I’m so excited to try it out on my friends. Downsides to the deck itself and other players decks?
@@jacksonscott99 Yes!!! I would say it's definitely not fun to play against lol and play plenty of counters for removal and permanent boardwipes. Wide strategies can also be a threat.
I have no idea haha I'm sure you can stall until you get a combo but I didn't go that route and instead stall out until I can win through commander damage with Atraxa which can take a while.
Ngl taking out dreadhorde seems kinda bad the ult straight up wins the game. Also Planeswalker decks need help protecting your walkers and gain card advantage which she does both but it’s your deck and if you found it bad in testing you probably have your reasons
Hi Garett! Yeah after uploading I looked at it closer and I had completely missed the "each opponent". When I was filming this I was reading it as "Each player" in my mind. I don't really look to protect my planeswalkers as all I want is their ultimate emblems as soon as they hit the battlefield. I do need a way to win though 😂 non-combo way that is
