I have built kilometres of forest roads over 20 years, so I quiet like watching you do this, pity your dozer wasn't spect with a ripper, I would never buy one without one.
Thanks for the tips. I just purchased my first bulldozer and most of my land is on a side hill. This video will help me out quite a bit. I enjoyed the view with the camera mounted on the top of the cab the most. Thanks again for posting.
That was really interesting for a guy new to heavy equipment operation. A few times I saw you doing things and wondered why....so I’ll have to watch a few more times to get it....but thank you!
Are you making a slight out slope for water to shed like on our trails in Pisgah Forest or a ditch along the bank like most of the roads in these mountains? Great work and video. I appreciate you.
Very nice job Mr. Todd . Really enjoy your videos and I learn something every time I watch your skills . But how do keep the hoop de dos out when pushing dirt with the dozer?
Hi I’m coming from OTR trucking to doing some light excavating. I bought a nice little International tractor and I’m wondering how you learned to grade driveways and other excavation work. Was it just trial and error? Thanks
The head strap angle while on the dozer is really cool IMO. It’s pretty much recording exactly what you’re seeing/looking at. I have a video of it on my channel if you’re interested. Love the content and thanks for the inspiration too🤠🙌🏻
I often refer to “road bond”. Is there another name for that, that I might understand? I don’t work in your industry, so please forgive me it’s a rookie question.
Looks a little monotonous, but fun! Did you have somewhat free reign in the general direction each path went? Over the top shot gave a better perspective on everything going on, but the multiple positions were interesting as well.
Very nice. That’s quite the machine. Love the rooftop view. You really get a sense of what’s happening from up there.
Dave
Glad you enjoyed it!!!
Nice. Hoping to see more of your boxblading skills. I learn something new every time. You are a solid teacher.
Yer very blood good ,very capable machine ,with driver's help of course. Well done man .
@@christopheryeates1791 thanks Christopher 🙏🏻

Greetings from EastTn Nothing more fun than cutting trails! Loved running a D3 back in the day Good job

I have a 1949 Cat D2 5U Blade in front and rippers in back. It is still getting the job done but that new dozer of yours is awesome.
It is nice to know that there are still people that will do the right thing instead of the easy thing! Great Toddcast! Keep up the good work!
U got some nice toys... My 309 just showed at CAT today. 😁
Congratulations on the 309! That's a great machine!
Looks like the some nice dirt no rocks! Lot of dirt to be moved there huh 💪🏼
That was rather enjoyable to watch, I must say!
Nice job!.. Enjoy all your videos 💪🏼
That D2 looks like it does a pretty good job and looks like a great little dozer to run.
Just followed the single axle dump truck until you got off of I26. Lookin good
Great work nicely done Hillbilly.
Great ride along Todd...
Great job on the dozer.
Cool camera position when you attached it to the side!
Gotta hurry and finish the trail so you can help Grandpa brew some more moonshine 🥃🤠
@@idessaoutlaw 🤣🤣🤣Yesssss!!!!
Reminds me of my time doing fire trail maintenance
Pretty good dozer man! I was impressed with that D2.
I check every day to see if you have posted a video or not and when I don't see one I am disappointed lol keep up the good work Todd 👏

Thank you Mr Todd. Another great video. In your opinion, a 299D3 with a dozer blade would do a comparable work ? Would take way longer? Thank you!
Good job and video as usual 👍
Very nice job Mr. Todd . Really enjoy your videos and I learn something every time I watch your skills . But how do keep the hoop de dos out when pushing dirt with the dozer?
I really learned a lot thank you
Glad it was helpful James!
Is what a job well done
How much money would be to buy new cat D2 ..

Sure looked nice
What is drainage plan here a side ditch?
Nice!
When you turned around it really sunk in looking at that steep hill
seen you in saluda today i own the shed lot next to dg on ozone drive
Todd you will cut a road anywhere! Love the camera view, the content and commentary. How many do you have on your work team, and how much was charged?
This was a long time ago. At the time of this video I had two employees. This little trail was around $2k. I’m back to working alone these days
@@DigginLife21 wow! Great video and thanks for the response!
Hey, are you still running the f750? How many miles/problems have you had?
Is the Dozer new to you? I probably missed it in previous videos, if not.
Well, now I know what to rent to put a road through the woods. That dozer moves an incredible amount of dirt in a short period of time
How you like that d2

If you get ,say, $1500 a day, how much can you charge for a second guy?
What is the second guy doing?
@@DigginLife21 Maybe operating a skid steer or a dump truck.

I planned the path out with the customers guidance of where to start and where to finish.
