To the land owner.. Plenty of us have voiced our opinions on the 0% interest thing but what is important is that YOU MADE IT HAPPEN! I love the fact you have your family with you and you and are making awesome moves. The property looks great and I like the evergreens you put in and you had the good sense to put in hydrants in to put water on them. If you have a UA-cam channel post it up and I’ll follow. Congrats to you and your family.

Just curious but there seems to be a lot of multigenerational properties in that area just based on the type of projects we have seen. Parents house will go there, kids house over there, etc. Is that common in the Carolinas? Up in PA I don’t hear of it much but perhaps I am just out of the loop. edit: to clarify multigenerational proprieties with different houses, I am accustomed to seeing multiple generation in a single house.

In a situation like this with the land already being so flat, I am curious if you considered using a tractor with landscape rake and box leveler. That dozer can push/pull with far more power than most tractors near it's footprint, but is all that power really needed when the land is so flat? That said I am NOT a dozer operator, just curious, not criticizing.

Sorry to to keep on about it, but why didn’t you use the GRADER? It’s got the ripper in front for the roots, and a blade to do the rest!

These kinds of jobs could be double edges swords. Nice to come do a simple job, but at the same time could turn into a can of worms. I have a PTO rock rake that would've done a nice job with all those little roots that fit through the rake on the dozer.

Well that is as nice as pie! What do you do when instead of roots you get rocks, and every 16 or 20 feet they get wadded up between the rake teeth, so you have to beat them out with a sledgehammer? Asking for a friend who can’t afford a Seppi or FAE stone crusher.

Yep, Chris can "fix it" - he likes pushing stuff with his dozer from Pa. Cough-cough,,,still quite dusty. That area looks familiar - like the new house above the pond expansion that had the L O N G driveway.
