    Just think about it, when Jimmer was going crazy at BYU a lot of these guys were in elementary school lmao. It wouldn't shock me if they really didn't know. I used to take them deep threes in practice my Freshman year and my coach hated it but I used to knock em down. If only he knew where basketball was headed in 10 years.

      A lot people thinks making 3 pt shots is easy in the NBA, but a lot of thise players can make 3 pt shots like this guy. The difference is defense in NBA is incredibly tough where a defensive player 5 feet away can make up ground and air to block a shot attempt.

      I lived in Utah County during the height of Jimmer’s college career and would not recognize him walking down the street. Everyone in Utah County looks like him practically, and he hasn’t been relevant since the minute he graduated.
      I’m not trying to be rude, and I know his run is historic, but let’s be real virtually no one 21 or younger knows who he is. His college career was from 2007-2011, that’s now 13 years ago. These dudes at the tryout were still wetting the bed when he was at his most popular.

    This just goes to show you what pro level talent is. People just don't realize how good these guys are. He's just playing bored and dominating. Standing there and hitting three's all day long. And still Jimmer came out of college, did well everywhere else, but even he wasn't good enough to get real playing time in the NBA. It's crazy.

    Played against him in high school, and was one of the few people to hold him under 30-40 points hahahahah😂😂. He was an absolute stud and put in all the work all year. So glad he made it

    Things that coaches used to hate: Deep range 3's, dribbling behind your back, and dribbling between your legs. Basically old school coaches used to frown upon what is now standard effective basketball in 2022.

      Pistol Pete had a long NBA career. He avergaged 24 pts a game and was an all star. Jimmer was nowhere near Pistol Pete.

    The kids were given a glimpse of what an NBA player should at least be able to do to get at least a glimpse from scouts. Jimmer happens to be small for his size and lacks the necessary defensive ability to stay within a system, but he is lights out shooter. Hope he be given another chance in the NBA. A specialist is still a specialist.

      Usually they tell them (in both cases) that they’re filming some other kind of documentary, in this case it would be one about how hard it is to walk on at the nations top colleges or something along those lines.
