Zero's combat, and if you don't have it all mastered by the time you attempt to take on Episode Mode or online play, there's a good chance you will get thrashed like a Saibaman going up against a Super Saiyan. So here's a primer on some Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero Essential Combat tips that you need know to master it.

The combat system is so easy, yet so complex at the same time. I'm 5 hours into the game and can't put down the controller.
you will put down once you realize how shallow the gameplay really is, ill give it 2 months

This was actually a really helpful and good video. Ive been playing since Monday and for anyone playing tomorrow definitely watch this. The counters and defense are gonna be very important.
Also if you are having trouble with the story, go to the shop and get little capsules to boost your characters.
So my u persuading is you just add the capsules to characters and it will appear amywhere
If you're doing Goku's story I'm assuming you have to give all his variations from early to super for the capsules to work throughout right?

As far as I've heard, capsules do not work for story mode
This is the best dragonball game I've ever played coming from someone who has been into dragonball for 24 years

It’s the perfect dragon ball FIGHTING game. A dragon ball in this SAME style and with Dragon ball kakarots style with super, and all z movies would be insane

I’ve seen other channels say the combat is too simple and repetitive. This makes it seem a lot more complex
They called it repetitive cause they got not skills.

When 2 people that are good at the stuff explained here go against eachother, it's straight from the anime. Teleporting everywhere, counters, blocks, combos, super moves. It almost looks choreographed

This was incredibly helpful. Some of this info is so simple but haven't found it after looking all day
Here’s a free win guide for you you’re welcome. Use yajirobe, keep spamming counters by holding B or O depending on what you’re playing on. Then use the combo that knocks back the opponent the quickest. Yajirobes parry stuns the person there for quite a long time so you can get it off and they can’t do anything about it. Then charge once they are far enough. Rinse and repeat. Chain in some supers to do some damage and then heal all the way back to full hp with a senzu bean when kind of low. You’re welcome

My only complaints about the game are about some QoL issues and the story mode being needlessly convoluted.
The combat is tricky to master but your video helps.

Ok but the issue is you can’t land hits in episode battle on any of the super bosses unless you abuse the sparking rush attacks and then spam ultimates it’s because this game is not balanced well for the super content it needs a few tweaks and hopefully the devs heard are issues and are working on making the game easier

@@adamflp5091 Plus this game is well optimized and should have been captured in 4k and uploaded in 4k since regular creators can afford the storage (or to just delete it after upload) i'm sure IGN could manage a well encoded 4k upload but it hasn't happened yet lol. The format that they use to encode the video gets crushed by UA-cam they need to encode their videos differently.
