- "Mod Catalog" mini series within "Weekly Dose Of Skyrim Mods" will focus on all hot mods released the current year, making sure I keep you up to date with Skyrim's modding community, even amidst the Starfield's release.
The channel is slowly gearing up for that same release, and although Skyrim modding ain't going anywhere for years to come, Starfield's release is definitely going to be nice breath of fresh air for me, where I could introduce a bit of variety to my content releases.
So expect many more Skyrim videos to come for the foreseeable future, with Starfield joining the video library very soon!

That dude is me. I already left a comment on this video explaining my current view on it. TLDR, I unfairly grouped that mod author in with the perverts of Skyrim which I don’t think was right of me to do.
Hey, so I’m the guy from 3:20 in the video who left those comments.
Firstly, yeah I suck for that. I still stand by some of the points I made about adult content bloating Skyrim mods (but I also want to make it clear this mod author I commented on wasn’t actually part of that problem). Anyway: at the time I was just in a pissy mood after trying to get my friend into Skyrim mods and he was turned off by all the adult stuff. As a result I just generalized this mod author as being part of the problem, which they really aren’t. I bare no ill will towards them, and I hope they keep making talented work in the future.

Yeah, but do we need it? The modders have done an insane job on skyrim! I've just done a bit of a vanilla+ mod list with a combat overhaul, and I can't remember the last time I got so much enjoyment from a game.

Skyrim is a great game, legendary even. But it is showing its age. While gameplay can be fixed or at least improved by mods, the engine isn't so simple. Mods can only go so far with the engine.
I love Skyrim. Really do, played that for more than 10 years.
I don't play it anymore, but I won't forget the memories with Skyrim.

I would like to note its not necessary to downgrade Skyrim at this point! OAR supports AE skyrim and DAR has also received an update as well.

Reading a comment or two made me realize I should have clarified a bit more what I was talking about.
I was responding to the very frequent question "what game do I use", which is 1.5.97 with best of both worlds. Not that you NEED to downgrade to use conditional animations.
It's no longer required due to OAR's open source and multiple game version support, and also since DAR has been updated as well.
1.5.97 for me personally because there's still a few mods and scripts that utilize 1.5.97 .exe file that I do not want to give up until updated.

@@vitalitydoesstuff3603 Its all good, I accept your apology. I actually think you have some valid points about nsfw mods making modding unsafe for younger audiences. I will even say personally it gets annoying browsing mods and just seeing TnA all over the website. Nexus could REALLY use a blur nsfw mods feature so you don't have to just flat out disable adult content for a safer viewing experience.

I’ve never owned a pc but I’ve been saving up for one. Now what type of pc do I need to be able to add mods and have a game to play and look like this also, being able to make Skyrim look like this. Does it mean u can make other games look like this?
Gosh man this just makes me wish I could have a better system! I used to be big into modding about a year ago but my laptop wasn't able to keep up with the mods I wanted. I wanted my game to look and be as smooth as yours for example, but the best I could get was 26 fps... Rocking a 1650 just doesn't cut it. Ended up quitting modding, but will definitely use these mods if I ever come back.

Man I really like your hair physics but the only thing that's kept me from using hair physics mods is there isn't one that covers all hair across-the-board.
