- Further testing for a future modlist. Skyrim's war questline really shows the age of the game. I can mod the visuals and transform the gameplay all I want, but there's always going to be that 2011 jank. Fps is all over the place too just because of how much is going on during this quest. Visually though, I really like this look.

Fun fact: You can run away from battle. When you return ulfric and tulius will call you coward.
I just finished that mission, and i didnt know that was possible, when i got conscious of what i was doing, i was already running through the imperial lines, murdering all imperial soldiers i saw

thats partly why I wait until i'm high lvl to do the civil war, its fun to play the unkillable soldier who can stop an army XD
It sure is, half of skyrim versus 1 hold. Empire is garbage for not sending enough troops.

@@Madi_Ernar I believe there is a mod that adds more enemies to siege battles so they dont feel so bland

I wish the battle for Whiterun was more immersive and detailed in terms of manpower
Skyrim is a wonderful game and full of magic, but the battles are cringe..
Unfortunately Skyrim is roughly on a 1/10 scale of what it is in lore.
Cities are at minimum 10x bigger battles also.
Needed to run on an Xbox 360. No way they can make the game any more ambitious otherwise loading screens would be 10x larger
From what ive seen of starfield they couldn't do better on modern hardware either
They can’t have more soldiers because Bethesda won’t get rid of the Creation engine and get an actually GOOD engine.

And this is why it is just good. Harder melee fights would be more inteteresting and cooler.

@@BlueFusion2910Unlike Skyrim? You cannot "downgrade" from Skyrim's combat as it's utter trash. It's only up from there. Even Morrowind's melee combat is better outside of early game, because it has an actual working stamina system for the enemies and you can knock them down, break their weapons, render them immobile, etc.
My favorite part about this video is the walking and running animations.
I liked the grass mod the most.
Little mods like that add *so* much to the game!

Yeah I really like the look. I believe it's ENB dynamic cubemaps and the settings from Berserkyr ENB.

This was amazing. I was only waiting for a throwing axe or a javelin throw though with that armor and look the main character had.

Aside from how easy to kill the AI, I'm pretty sure this is the best modlist I've seen so far. The graphics and the combat are really grounded and realistic. Make the combat more challenging and I don't see how skyrim can get any better
Thanks for the input! I agree this was too easy, I think it's mostly because I'm using a high level character and dual wielding can get op with the right perks. I'm definitely looking at more mods to improve the challenge.
dude, there is a series of mods for oblivion called deadly reflex, and unessicary violence. they were absolutely peak. you could go slow mo, and guide your sword to dismemeber people and they had guts that spilled. absolutely great and I camnot for the life of me find the skyrim equivilent
Because its not skyrim combat anymore bro i usually stay to the more vanilla plus experience like precision or blade and blunt it's a good way to plau combined with ordinator perks it's challenging and not broken

I did the whole stormcloak campaign and never leveled up once. Took 3 hours for imperials to stop spawning lol

I used a mod where you can convince Balgruuf to go with the Stormcloaks instead. Battle averted (although somehow Heimskr's house still blew up, lol).
I wonder how it effects the game later. Listen to his conversations he seems to actually agree with the Stormcloaks but reluctantly chooses the Empire but still has much disdain for Ulfric which I am sure makes it easier to stay with the Empire.
Only mod I'd have done would have been to add a few dozen more NPCs to make it seem like there were actual armies involved!

Any mods required? Whenever I try to load it it does that weird stringing off every direction and then crashes

@@CredoRPthanks that fixed it! Btw there’s another mod I’d recommended for this load order. The berserker font mod (GoW: Ragnarök font) would make it look even more Norse than it already does
@@CredoRPokay so I figured something out. I was using the non SMP version. I tried pairing that with the SMP version, and the hair still makes like one long glitchy line in one direction. It’s something to do with the physics then because the normal version works fine

Im currently using the smp version of vanilla hair remake.
After playing bannerlord, it hurts to take part in “battles” from like any single player game lol. It’s always maybe 12 people you fight in the battle and some boss.
